The creators of the application used historical texts and sophisticated, animated graphics, in order to narrate the shocking confrontation that changed the course of humanity. The app presents the true story of the most important naval battle of the Ancient World. Salamis features impressive graphics and original artwork from the famous greek painter, Loukatos.
Achinos, Greece - A new application for iPhone and iPad was presented by Tassos and Dimitris Voulgaris, creators of the successful app "Greece: History and Culture". The new application is Salamis 1.0 and presents the true story of the most important naval battle of the Ancient World, the naval battle of Salamis that took place in 480BC, a few days after the battle of Thermopylae.
The creators of the application used historical texts and sophisticated, animated graphics, in order to narrate with a new way the shocking confrontation that changed the course of humanity. The recounting of the events and biographies of the protagonists associated with the graphic presentation of the battle and the 3D display of the Trireme give a rich and comprehensive experience. It is also worth noting that the original illustration of the application is the creation of renowned artist Loukatos.
The application Salamis is available in both Greek and English, so users across the world can remember or learn through the most modern, technological environment, the details of a sensational battle and the struggle of the Greeks to preserveDemocracy and their Freedom.
