Wilmington based developer, Match Software today announces Check Writer III for OS X. Check Writer allows anyone to easily create and print checks, as well as their accompanying letter, from any Mac. Checks can be highly customized and printed on regular letter-size paper or professional looking check refill paper available from fine office supply and online stores. Checks layout can be modified with choice of fonts, and each element of the check can be moved at will.
Wilmington, Delaware - Match Software(TM) today is pleased to announce the release of Check Writer III to easily create and print checks, as well as their accompanying letter, from any Mac, OS X or macOS Sierra. Checks can be highly customized, and printed on regular letter-size paper or professional looking check refill paper available from fine office supply and online stores. For instance, Versacheck #1000, #1001, #1002, #3000, and Personal Checks # 3001. Even non standard sheets can be used, thanks to very precise setting of checks dimensions.
Checks layout can be modified with choice of fonts, and each element of the check can be moved at will. It is possible to suppress printing of certain elements if they are already present on the check stock. Signature can be added and printed at the same time. Pictures can be inserted for logos and illustrations. Photographs and images can be used as background.
The Register acts as a record book, and keeps all transactions in an easy column format, like the paper booklet. Each transaction can be viewed, reconciled, and checks can be viewed or printed again if needed. Deposits and other debits such as ATM debits can be added. Balance is calculated automatically. Multiple accounts are supported, with instantaneous switch between them. Records can easily be exported in CSV format for use in spreadsheet or database.
The built in word processor supports RTF (Rich Text Format), fonts, styles, colors and pictures. Letters can be saved and loaded as templates for different usages. With the exclusive merge function, data from the check automatically show in the letter name and address of the payee, amount, number, as well as what the check is for.
Checks can be printed immediately on the different kinds of paper, such as vouchers with checks on top, middle or bottom position. For three checks per page forms, checks can be memorized and printed later in batches, so all slots are used. Blank checks can be printed in any number, to be used later as regular paper checks.
MICR Toner (magnetic ink) supported for any serious check printing, to comply with the American Banking Association MICR E13B standard. MICR E13B printing complies with ANSI X9.27-1995, ANSI X9.100-160-1-2009, and Canadian CPA006 standards. Extremely accurate MICR E13B technology is used to print special characters at the bottom of checks so they are recognized by bank processing.

Mac Backup Guru offers a clean, easy-to-use interface, making it simple for anyone to safely backup their important data. Users can easily clone a drive, synchronize their backups, and even create incremental snapshots of their data, all from the app's easy-to-follow, animated interface.
"They say that necessity is the mother of invention, and that was certainly true in the case of Mac Backup Guru," commented Ben Slaney of MacDaddy. Direct Cloning:
The Direct Cloning function creates an exact duplicate of a folder or disk. Direct Cloning easily makes a direct copy of anything a user tells it to copy. Users who have attempted to make a backup of their System folder by simply dragging & dropping the folder to another drive know that method simply doesn't work. Mac Backup Guru can easily make an exact copy of anything marked for backup, whether it's terabytes of data, or the complex folder hierarchy of the System folder.
Synchronization:
Synchronization is the answer if a user already has a partial backup of their data and wants to make sure that all of the folders and files that are different between the source and destination are included in the backup. Synchronization performs this by only copying the files that have changed. If it finds any files on the destination disk that are no longer on the source disk, it moves them to the trash. The result is a clone of the source directory,
Incremental Snapshots:
If a user were to make a complete backup of a 500GB hard drive each time, it would require a multiple terabyte capacity backup drive to hold even just a few backups. Incremental Snapshots allow users to store multiple backups of their drive by storing only fresh copies of the files that have been changed since the previous backup, and the rest are hardlinks to the previous backup. This allows multiple backups using only a fraction of the space needed for a full backup each time, while appearing as a full backup. If you browse through an incremental snapshot in the Finder it looks just like a full disk duplicate. If you were to do a "Get Info" on 10 of them they'll tell you they're using 10TB of space - for a 1TB drive. That's what makes Incremental Snapshots so useful. Users can have multiple "full" backups of their drives, yet use only a fraction of the actual space on their backup drive.

Mac Backup Guru makes keeping important files backed up easier than ever. Users no longer have to wait for a backup to finish before getting resuming their work. The app runs quietly in the background, (using minimal resources), efficiently making bootable backups of the Mac file system, while the users can continue to work on other important things. Backups can also be easily scheduled for any time of day, so there's no need to worry about remembering to backup any new work. If the app isn't running at the scheduled backup time, Mac Backup Guru will start up in the background and begin the backup.
Creating bootable backups with Mac Backup Guru is just a matter of a few clicks of the mouse. Simply select a volume to backup, and then select the destination volume. The app will create a bootable copy of the original volume. Users can then boot their Mac from the external backup, (if needed), by simply holding down the Option key while their Mac boots up.
Mac Backup Guru is intelligent. If the backup drive isn't attached to the Mac when it's time for a scheduled backup, there is nothing to worry about. Backup Guru will automatically run the next time it sees that drive attached. The app will even notify you if there is a backup pending when it opens. Mac Backup Guru makes keeping important files backed up easier than ever. Users no longer have to wait for a backup to finish before getting resuming their work. The app runs quietly in the background, (using minimal resources), efficiently making bootable backups of the Mac file system, while the users can continue to work on other important things. Backups can also be easily scheduled for any time of day, so there's no need to worry about remembering to backup any new work. If the app isn't running at the scheduled backup time, Mac Backup Guru will start up in the background and begin the backup.
Creating bootable backups with Mac Backup Guru is just a matter of a few clicks of the mouse. Simply select a volume to backup, and then select the destination volume. The app will create a bootable copy of the original volume. Users can then boot their Mac from the external backup, (if needed), by simply holding down the Option key while their Mac boots up.
Mac Backup Guru is intelligent. If the backup drive isn't attached to the Mac when it's time for a scheduled backup, there is nothing to worry about. Backup Guru will automatically run the next time it sees that drive attached. The app will even notify you if there is a backup pending when it opens. Restoring from a backup is just as easy; simply select which backup to restore from, and which drive to restore to. Mac Backup Guru does the rest, quickly and efficiently restoring all of the backed up data to the destination drive.
