Post Brutal is an ultraviolent 3D action RPG set in a ruined and war torn city under quarantine. In the aftermath of 'The Event', over half of City Zero's population have been driven into a feral frenzy. Players take the role of a post-apocalyptic survivor as themselves; using their mobile device camera and microphone, players can give their character their own face and record dialogue for in game conversations with other survivors, making this zombie apocalypse truly personal.
"One of my favourite aspects of an RPG is being able to create myself as the protagonist," said Mel Georgiou, Director of Hell Tap Entertainment LTD. "What better way to feel invested in your character than by giving them your own face and voice?"
Blood splatters and limbs fly as players master intense melee and frenetic ranged combat with a range of weapons that spans household items to military hardware and near future technology. A diverse set of skills are available including Adrenaline Rush, which slows time, stealth, lock picking and others, across up to 24 character levels. Along the way, players talk to other survivors and uncover emails, documents and news articles to piece together the truth behind 'The Event'. Choices have consequences and missions can be approached in multiple ways.
"We set out to create an experience that had depth, that was immersive, but would be accessible to pick up at any time," said Kyri Patarou, writer of Post Brutal. "Our independent team of two has taken the post apocalypse into a new direction and we want players to experience it their way."

DEVONthink saves all your documents, keeps them organized, and recalls them whenever you need them. Version 2.9.8 brings a revamped Media preferences pane with enhancements for Markdown document handling, improves auto-saving, makes scanning multiple pages more comfortable, and fixes more issues with PDF support on macOS Sierra.
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - DEVONtechnologies LLC today updates all editions of its intelligent information and document manager DEVONthink. The new version brings a revamped Media preferences pane with enhancements for Markdown document handling. In addition, version 2.9.8 improves auto-saving, makes scanning multiple pages more comfortable, and fixes more issues with PDF support on macOS Sierra. All updates are free and recommended for all users.
DEVONthink 2.9.8 brings enhancements to make paperless life less tiresome. The revised Media preference panes cleans up the available options and adds a new one. It allows users to choose whether they want to open Markdown files in editing or preview mode. Markdown is a way to add formatting to plain text documents in a way that both humans and machines can read them. DEVONthink shows Markdown as well as MultiMarkdown documents rendered to graphically pleasing HTML.
Scanning documents with multiple pages becomes simpler with version 2.9.8, too, and so does handling indexed items. Indexed items are files or folders located outside of the database package. Taggers will like that they can now drag tags or words from the concordance into the Tags bar or Info panel to add new tags to documents or groups.
The update also speeds up synchronizing databases between Macs. Pending records can be downloaded via the contextual and action menus. Pending records are 'placeholders' for indexed files when the user has chosen to not synchronize their content automatically. This option can save valuable disk space, especially if the database contains huge indexed folders.
Finally, all four editions including DEVONnote now recognize Fountain plain text files and save documents automatically five minutes after the last modification. Heavy-duty mobile users get a battery time boost with the applications no longer switching to the discrete graphics card by default on macOS Sierra.
The updates for all editions of DEVONthink and DEVONnote as well as DEVONthink To Go are free for existings users and highly recommended.
