Among the oldest and most common words in the English language, irregular verbs represent core vocabulary. They are used, not only to form past and perfect tenses, but also in the construction of passives, conditionals and reported speech. Mastering the irregular verbs puts learners on the fast track to improving performance across the board in English in a short time.
To this end, VerbBusters supplies a complete set of resources for learning, practising and revising the irregular verbs. It provides a quiz type activity on six levels of difficulty with scoring, error-highlighting and help functions. Verb lists with native language translations are provided for each level and the searchable database allows learners to hear the pronunciation of almost 180 of the most and least common irregular verbs.
