Montreal, Quebec - Caffeinated indie game studio, Not a Hipster Coffee Shop (NAHCS) has announced the release of its first game, #REALBIRD_REAL for iOS 7 devices. On March 13th, #REALBIRD_REAL became available as a free (and ad free) download, which is considerably less than a cup of coffee. The game had a soft launch in early March, and has now been updated and prepared for a widespread release.
#REALBIRD_REAL is a blend between an artistic statement and an arcade game, inspired by Dong Nguyen and the Flappy Jam. This game explores mechanics and experience design as a medium for artistic statements and social commentary, and is a breath of fresh air in an App Store filled with thoughtless Flappy Bird clones.
