Carson City, Nevada - ThePowerXChange, the source for extended technology, has announced the availability of the ColorLogic product range. ColorLogic's color management products are easy to use, can be easily integrated into any production environment, and operate reliably for consistent results.
"We are excited to now be offering ColorLogic's impressive range of color management solutions in the U.S.," states Tami Stodghill, Press Relations for ThePowerXChange. "Being a Certified reseller for Enfocus Switch, we're in a unique position to be able to offer the best color management technology to users who want reliable results in any production environment, or in conjunction with their Switch workflows. By being able to offer both of these solutions, we can offer our users everything they need for automated, color-managed output."
ColorLogic products now available in the U.S. through ThePowerXChange include:
CoPrA - CoPrA stands for "Color Profiling Application" and is a standalone application for MacOSX and Windows platforms that combines first-class ICC output profile generation, creation of abstract profiles and ICC DeviceLink technology for RGB, CMYK, Grayscale, and MultiColor color spaces, as well as for switching between color spaces (e.g. RGB-2-CMYK DeviceLinks). It also gives users the ability to save color transformations of any kind, (e.g. selective or global corrections), in the form of a DeviceLink profile. CoPrA offers top-class, professional quality in a program that is easy to use for color management pros and novices alike.
ZePrA - ZePrA from ColorLogic offers a solution for automating the color conversion of PDF and pixel files by means of ICC and DeviceLink profiles. ZePrA boasts simple, clearly structured user prompting and setup and extraordinarily high speed, providing outstanding quality of color conversion resulting from the use of ColorLogic SmartLink and DeviceLink profile technology.
ColorAnt - ColorAnt is a software solution for measurement data processing prior to profiling. There are many situations in which color measurement data is not prepared correctly and therefore causes problems when creating the ICC profiles. There could be reading errors from the instrument or print errors or other artifacts resulting in less than perfect measurement data quality. To optimize the measurement data and to intelligently average multiple data sets, ColorAnt is the perfect tool.
DocBees - ColorLogic has seen a significant demand for simple solutions to handle clearly defined tasks in a color management workflow, and that's where their DocBees product range comes into play. In their own daily work as color management developers, the DocBees ProfileManager, DocBees ProfileTagger and DocBees Reprofiler were created to address production challenges for which there were no existing solutions available on the market.
DeviceLink Sets (DLS)- DeviceLink profiles complement the use of normal ICC profiles, making it possible to specifically circumvent the weaknesses of color conversion based on an ICC profile for certain tasks. The main fields of application are transformation from CMYK to CMYK, and tailor-made conversion or optimization for highly specific purposes. They also offer specially compiled, high-quality profile sets for a number of standard tasks and printing conditions including ISO standards, USA standards, newspaper standards, gravure standards, etc. These profile sets are designed for color conversion from one standard to another, and at the same time permit targeted limitation of the total amount of color, as well as ink optimization.
