Rival Games announces Bubble Rival, a game that changes the dynamics of bubble shooters. Players are to save all the bubbles from the evil villian. Rival Game's CEO, Aldric Sun has set out to raise the bubble shooter bar after making a bet with his wife. Think Mario Kart meets Puzzle Bobble. Rival Games spent two years perfecting the game before they were willing to launch it, feeling that quality was of the utmost importance.
The time and resources spent on both the graphics and the audio are easy to see with adorable characters and finely synced audio. Rival hired Konrad OldMoney, known for producing music for a number of EA sports' games, in order to ensure that the audio expertly matched the look and feel of the game. Turn up the volume and try to stay calm as the music mounts while your time runs out.
The aim of the game is to save all of the "Blubbles" from the evil villain, Count Weevil. Collect points earned by winning bubble shootouts with Count Weevil and his minions will allow you to save all of the "Blubbles" stolen from Bubbletopia. Challenge new rivals along the way while collecting the stolen "Blubbles" and use rainbows, bombs and other special power-ups for help.
