The Dodgy Dingbat 2.0.0 update leaves the gameplay mostly unchanged, while improving the background graphics and adding more themes for players to explore. Players will enjoy the sharper graphics in the default mode, and will also enjoy the new skins (themes) that have been added to the game. Each skin has its own character, background and obstacle, making each one almost into its own game. The gameplay itself, is the same for all themes. The speed of the obstacles has been increased slightly to make the game more challenging.
Dodgy Dingbat is a cross-platform mobile game that will keep you distracted and entertained by presenting a new twist on a common challenge: how long can you dodge the obstacles. The game is simple: tap the screen, and the dingbat (also called the 'bat) will jump. The challenge comes when the spam envelopes appear, and the player has to try to last as long as possible without getting hit. Because of its simple controls, anyone can pick up the game in no time at all.
The four game modes and variety of themes ensure that even the most skilled players are kept entertained. Players can also use NoScore mode to pass the game among friends without their high scores being overwritten. Dodgy Dingbat takes advantage of Apple's Game Centre, Google Play Games, and Amazon's Game Circle to allow users to compare their scores with friends, and with the public, depending on which platform they are playing on.
