Toronto based musician and technologist, Rosano Coutinho has announced iLift 2.0 for iOS. iLift helps musicians transcribe and learn to play music from recordings. Version 2.0 includes a redesigned interface, high quality speed change, and intuitive loop marking. The new additions complement the app's existing ability to transpose to alternate keys, adjust fine tuning for out of tune recordings, loop sections of a song, rewind or fast forward like a tape player, and show metadata.
Toronto, Canada - Musician and technologist, Rosano Coutinho has announced the release of iLift 2.0 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. iLift helps musicians transcribe and learn to play music from recordings.
The app focuses on simplicity: "This is one of the few music apps you can use without reading complicated instructions, managing files, or understanding English," says Rosano Coutinho, the app developer; "You can even operate it without looking at the screen!"
iLift 2.0 includes a redesigned interface, high quality speed change (slow down to 25% of original speed), and intuitive loop marking. The new additions complement the app's existing ability to transpose to alternate keys, adjust fine tuning for out of tune recordings, loop sections of a song, rewind or fast forward like a tape player, and show metadata.
