MadowSoft software has announced MacFort 4.9.3.0, an innovative utility to password protect folders and Apps on Mac, the new version brings you some significant features. Add the ability to password protect Dropbox, also add encryption support to OmniFocus2, Things2, Pixa, ForeverSave 2, ScreenFloat. MacFort also allows you to encrypt and password protect individual folders or files. If you need to password lock some files or folders, just add them to MacFort, then the app will do the rest.

Nashville, Tennessee - MacFort is a Mac OS X application which gives you the ability to encrypt and password protect application associations or folders. With just 2 clicks, MacFort lets you password protect several built-in confidential files and folders on your Mac, e.g, Dropbox, Mac Mail, iPhoto library, Aperture library, Browser history, Evernote, Contacts, Chat history, or any individual files and folders you want to protected from prying eyes.

MacFort uses encrypted vaults to securely store your important files, it creates an encrypted vault using AES encryption schemes. AES is used by US government and military for all "top secret" classified documents, no one can open an encrypted vault without knowing the correct password. When you try to open your favorite apps (e.g, Mac Mail), MacFort will prompt you for a password to open the vault, if password enter wrong, Mac Mail will be prevented from accessing the email messages. Therefore, your important files will be completely inaccessible to anyone else.

MacFort also allows you to encrypt and password protect individual folders or files. If you need to password lock some files or folders, just add them to MacFort, then MacFort will do the rest for you.
