The app has been rewritten from the ground up utilizing new technologies available in recent OS X releases. A number of enhancements have been added to the application including the ability to group multiple portfolios inside of a single brokerage account and new methods for comparing performance against market indexes.
Portfolio mobile has refocused on core investment portfolio tracking functions. Technical charting has been removed and will be offered exclusively through the Market Analyst application. Market Analyst offers technical charting and market scanning. Together the applications provide a seamless and complete solution for those looking for more in depth technical analysis, while simultaneously allowing each application to grow organically in its respective area.
This is the first release in a line of updates coming to all platforms. Mobile versions are slated for release later this year along with a long-awaiting automatic sync service that will keep your data safe and current on all of your devices. Users looking to try the preview can easily import their data without fear of affecting existing app versions - both versions can be run concurrently.
