Pfaeffikon, Switzerland - Power App AG has announced the release of Battery Doc 1.4.0, an important feature update to their popular battery management app developed exclusively for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. This version introduces Apple Watch compatibility and allows to show the remaining uptime for the Apple Watch.
Battery time is a critical point for any mobile device, even more for wearables. Battery Doc uses proprietary algorithms to determine the remaining uptime for the device. The displayed numbers either show the remaining uptime for the actual state of the device or the remaining uptime for specific uses.
Optimizing tips are based on the current state of the device and show exactly how much long the battery will last by disabling certain features. An additional page shows detailed statistics of the memory usage, completed by a list of current tasks that are running in the background. Informations about the actual CPU load can be seen as well as various hardware information.
Features of Battery Doc:
* Remaining uptime is precisely calculated
* Optimization tips are calculated on proprietary algorithms
* Additional in-app system information provided
* Additional system information
* Statistics
According to Christian Schaffner, GM of Power APP, their algorithm is the most advanced tool to calculate the battery state of iOS devices. "There are tons of battery apps available, while most of them give more or less a good guess of what's going on inside the iPhone. We didn't want to guess, we wanted an app that is precisely calculating what's going on. That's why we developed our own algorithm to analyze the remaining battery power, so that we are able to deliver real information and not just a guess. Using a separate Display to show the informations that were gathered for the calculations is an additional goody that doesn't hurt anybody. Taking the app further and have it available for the Apple Watch was a logical decision, especially after all the discussions about the battery of the Apple Watch." as Christian Schaffner further explains.
Device Requirements:
* Available with Apple Watch when released
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 6.0 or later
* 5.0 MB
Pricing and Availability:
