MCE Technologies (MCE) has announced a 1TB internal PCIe-based Flash storage upgrade solution for late-2013 through mid-2015 13" and 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display. The 1TB Upgrade Kits are based on the super-fast PCIe storage architecture in those machines and includes all tools required to perform the installation, an illustrated installation guide, and drive cloning software. The MCE 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Kits for 13" and 15" MacBook Pro (late 2013 through mid 2014) are based on the PCIe (2 Lane) architecture in those machines and can transfer date at speeds of up to 1GB/sec. The MCE 1TB Upgrade kits for 13" and 15" MacBook Pro (2015) are based on the PCIe (4 Lane) architecture present in those machines and can transfer data at speeds of up to 2GB/sec. The 1TB PCIe-based flash drives feature native Trim support to ensure longevity and carry a one year warranty.

The MCE 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Kits are $999.00 and include the 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage drive, an installation toolkit, an illustrated installation guide, and drive cloning software.
