Babble-on App Localization today added support for payments via Bitcoin and Alipay. Developers from across the globe can now pay for expert app localization in over 40 languages using the universal Bitcoin currency, or China's popular Alipay service. Developers from across the globe can now pay for expert app localization in over 40 languages using the universal Bitcoin currency, or China's popular Alipay service.
"Bitcoin was high on our customers' wish lists," says Babble-on founder Benjamin Zadik. "It saves non-US developers a lot of money and hassle by reducing currency exchange and transfer fees. We also support Alipay because that's what our Chinese customers use. When you're dealing with internationalization, you've got to get global in every way."
Localizations can also be purchased using more familiar credit and debit cards, or PayPal. All options are available immediately for all customers. Developers can get instant cost estimates and free pseudolocalization by visiting the site.
A developer portal offers even more options. Simply drag files onto the page to count the number of words and strings inside a myriad of localization formats, including the most popular iOS .strings, Java .properties, and Android .xml. Developers can then determine which international markets they can afford now, and which they should wait to internationalize later.
"Our pricing is totally upfront. There are no tiers of good, better, or best translation. We offer only expert translation." Adds Benjamin, "You wouldn't choose a software engineer from the bottom tier. Why would you choose a translator that way?"
