Mannheim, Germany - Jan Essig has announced the release and immediate availability of easy! - a deluxe brainteaser 1.1, an important update to his fast-paced logic game developed exclusively for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. easy! throws rapid-fire logic questions at players, requiring them to answer within three seconds by swiping their finger right for true, or left for false. The game's fast pace requires players to answer quickly, while also pushing them to exercise the logic center of their brain. The update brings 6 new types of questions and statements, optimized gameplay, an improved kids mode with an extended answer time limit and its own leaderboard, and more!
The concept of easy! is easy to learn, but tough to master. Players are faced with an extremely short three second period of time to answer, as the questions fly at a fast and furious pace. Is this a country? Is this edible? Is this yellow? As well as logic questions, players are also faced with math and image-based problems. After 5 correct answers, the theme changes. Answer quickly and correctly, or it's Game Over!
What's New in Version 1.1:
* Added 6 new questions/statements. Each with 30 correct and 30 false answers
* Optimized all 1.200 answers for North American language & culture
* Extended Social Media Share Options: Share your score via Twitter, Facebook, Messenger, or Email
* Added full Russian & Turkish language support in addition to the English & German support
* Added an option to invert answer swipe direction
* Two different fonts available: Select your favorite font for the answers from the settings options
* Improved kid's mode: Thinking time can be extended by 2 seconds, children also have their own leaderboard
* Optimized gameplay + improved tap & swipe handling
"While easy! proved to be a quite popular game, we found that children sometimes needed a bit more time to answer," says developer Jan Essig. "In version 1.1, we added an improved kid's mode that extends the time for answering, making the game more enjoyable for the younger set. easy! is now a challenging, brain-teasing game for all ages, making the app more accessible for everyone. Meanwhile, adult players of easy! will still find the same familiar gameplay, with an even greater level of challenge, as they are faced with 6 new question/statement types that will frustrate them even more than before!"
Players will find that the most challenging feature of easy! is the way the game seamlessly shifts gears with every five correct answers. Users will be faced with whether a set of math questions are correct, (or incorrect, watch out for that!), and then see the quiz suddenly move right into a batch of true or false, "Does this taste sweet?" questions. Just when a contestant can get their mind around a way of logically approaching a certain group of questions, the game switches gears on them, and goes off on a completely different line of questioning.
easy!'s Game Center integration allows players to easily see how well their score compares with those of their family, friends, or even complete strangers from around the world! With the addition of a kid's leaderboard, children can see how well they compared to other competitors their own age. It's also easy to challenge others players to join in the fun, so now anyone can compete to prove once and for all who in their group thinks on the fly the fastest. Players who show long-term dedication to the game could see themselves leap to the top of the Leaderboard.
Features:
* 20 questions and statements
* 30 false answers and 30 correct answers respectively
* 3 seconds to think
* Swipe right for true, swipe left for false
* Merciless rating system
* Intuitive controls
* A Purple Monster
* Entertaining sound effects
* Colorful graphics

easy! is fun for the whole family. Kid-friendly questions and answers make the game safe to play for any age group. The game's Purple Monster mascot, colorful graphics, humorous sound effects, and extended 5 second answer time limit make it a great game for younger players. Meanwhile, the tricky, continually shifting lines of questioning, along with the advanced 3 second answer time limit, make it an entertaining challenge for teenage and adult players.
easy! has proved popular with players in a number of countries, ranking several days as the number one trivia and logic game in 12 countries! Easy! spent three weeks at number one among trivia and logic games in Germany, and spent several more days in the top five overall in that country. App Store customers have also given glowing reviews to easy!, with over 100 five star ratings.
The development of easy! was a family affair. While developer Jan Essig worked on illustrations, animation, and app development, his five-year-old son created the monster sounds, his seven-year-old daughter researched the questions and answers for the quizzes, and his wife worked on graphic design for the overall app.
