The new version streamlines conversion of InDesign links to JPEG by automatically flattening image layers prior to saving the file. This feature allows to avoid unnecessary process interruption in Photoshop, which presents the Save As dialog on attempt to save a layered image to JPEG. In previous versions, users had to explicitly select the option to flatten images in LinkOptimizer settings.

The update is free for LinkOptimizer 4.x users and $130 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer requires Mac OS X 10.6-10.10 and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop CS3-CC 2015. Mac OS X 10.11 will be supported upon release.
