Franklin, Tennessee - Cullaboration Media today is proud to announce the release of One Song Workout 1.0, its new fitness app developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The One Song Workout helps break through workout boredom by creating fresh workouts based on a user's favorite songs. Inspired by the 7-minute workout popularized by the New York Times, the One Song Workout adds variation and entertainment to make the workout experience more enjoyable.
Users select a song from their iTunes account and the One Song Workout automatically creates a high-intensity interval based workout. Users are then guided through the workout by voice prompts and countdown timers. Exercise repetition goals are automatically adjusted based on user feedback at the completion of a workout.
"I didn't want my kids to sit around all day on summer break. I wanted something that would get them up and moving," says Matt Johnston, CEO of Cullaboration Media, about the initial development of the One Song Workout app. "What I soon realized was that the quick, fulfilling workouts helped renew my interest in exercising regularly."
One Song Workout works with all music in a user's iTunes library, including songs stored in the iTunes cloud. Through an in-app purchase, users are able to track their workouts on a calendar, mark workouts as favorites, and customize the length of each exercise interval.
