This latest upgrade includes Apple watchOS 2 features and iOS 9 compatibility. Apple Watch features include health kit data integration, haptic feedback and the use of the digital crown to enhance usability of the Compete Golf App. Compete Golf also added Handoff feature back to the iPhone for users who need to use the iPhone for other features.

Compete Golf uses a unique "Tab & Go" score input method. Tap & Go records the GPS of all the ball positions and provides statistics and club distances with no extra efforts from users. * "Auto" Driving Distances - All Par 4 & 5 have their driving distances measured and shown automatically on the input screen

Additional credits are available for in-app purchase. Tournaments are free for up to 4 players, and starts at $1.99 (USD) for groups of 8 or more. A PRO version is also available for $16.99 (USD), which offers additional technical features for the active tournament golfer including marker locations for all obstacle locations on the course, two-shot planning lines, club performance details, full statistics and personal best performance tracking.
