London, United Kingdom - FoodMood Ltd has launched its new app to revolutionise the way Londoners find restaurants. The app redefines the concept of restaurant search offering its users a tinder-style, food-centric and mouth-watering experience. In the background it uses state-of-the-art technology to learn its users' tastes in real-time and deliver personalised recommendations.

How does it actually work?
Simply YUM or YUK pics of delicious dishes around you and relax. FOODMOOD's smart algorithm will instantly get the food mood you're in today and recommend restaurants you'll love.

How smart FOODMOOD really is?
The FOODMOOD team, Charles Fattouche and Mehdi Kheloufi, who describe themselves as foodie geeks, spent the last 12 months designing a search engine smart enough to learn in real-time.

Charles, the founder, explains: "When looking at a dish, the human brains instantly captures multiple features from the type of cuisine to minor details such as the use of specific ingredients or the way they have been cooked. Our algorithm is designed to mimic that behaviour. It uses more than a hundred food features to analyse each yum or yuk and ultimately root down what you are in the mood for". As a result, FOODMOOD's algorithm understands your food mood in seconds and compares it with dishes served around you to provide accurate recommendations.

Hang on! Where do all these great pictures come from?
With one of the most dynamic food scenes in the world, it's no surprise that London also has one of the hottest food blogging communities! At FOODMOOD, we want to make it easier for everyone to explore the wealth of London food blogs. That is why we designed our search engine to focus on blog contents allowing you not only to swipe through thousands of pics but also to instantly get access to expert blogger reviews within the app. Join us in spreading this vibrant culture.
