LeagueChaser Media announces the release of LeagueChaser 12 for iOS devices. LeagueChaser is the premier way for players to compare their At Bat averages to thousands of baseball players nationwide. Players can also create "Teams" and "Groups" with players on their current team or groups with friends. LeagueChaser uses Tom Tango's wOBA (weighted on base average) which combines all the different aspects of hitting into one metric, weighting each of them in proportion to their actual run value.

Athens, Georgia - LeagueChaser Media is proud to announce the release of LeagueChaser 12 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. LeagueChaser is the premier way for players to compare their At Bat averages to thousands of baseball players of all ages nationwide. Once the user enters their At Bats after each game LeagueChaser lets them know where they compare to other players locally, by State, by region, and nationally.

Users can also create "Teams" and "Groups" with players on their current team or groups with friends. Our goal is for baseball players from all over to use their competitive side to want to do better and play a better game. LeagueChaser uses Tom Tango's wOBA (weighted on base average) which combines all the different aspects of hitting into one metric, weighting each of them in proportion to their actual run value.

Since batting averages are only based on hits, this allows each hit to be weighed by each outcome of an At Bat. This way is better for ranking due to performance at the plate, and not just a single is the same as a HR. We have put a lot of work in developing an app that is easy to use and fun for all ages. We are excited for the upcoming launch, and can not wait to watch players have fun with America's favorite pastime.
