DEVONtechnologies, LLC updates all editions of its Internet search and research tool DEVONagent. Available in three editions, DEVONagent is a smart internet search agent. It queries search engines and crawls web sites. It then post-filters the results and presents the results in a multitude of ways. The new version brings updated plugins and search sets, adds contextual menu options for videos, and more. The updates are free and recommended for all users.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - All editions of DEVONagent 3.9.4 update a number of plugins, the Pro edition also four search sets. Clearing the search results or switching to private browsing clears the system-wide find pasteboard now too. This makes sure no unwanted private data is left behind if not intended.

DEVONagent Pro 3.9.4 lets the user quickly reset the fonts settings to factory defaults. New contextual menu options download HTML 5 videos or open them in new tabs or windows. The update also improves the naming of copied or captured links and bookmarks as well as HTTPS support for XML and JSON plugins. Users extend DEVONagent Pro by writing their own plugins for connecting the application with search engines of choice.

Finally, DEVONagent Pro and Express filter advertising, analytics, trackers, and links to translation services more accurately. All editions also receive bug fixes and reliability improvements.
