Amstelveen, Netherlands - The Mental Faculty today is proud to announce the release of Studies 1.0, a powerful flashcard app for iPhone and iPad. Studies brings pro level study tools to the mobile platform, with multifaceted study notes, support for audio and video, iCloud sync across all devices, and goal-targeted study schedules.

With Studies, flashcard content on your iOS devices (and Macs) synchronize via iCloud. Study progress and the current study session are also kept in sync, so you can start a study session on your iPhone on the bus ride, and finish up on the sofa with your iPad. Study cards in Studies are also much more powerful than traditional flashcards. They can include as many sides as you choose - not just two - and each side can contain styled text, an image, audio, and even video.

Studies can also schedule study cards for study, using goal-oriented study schedules. For example, if you want to remember something in the long term, you can choose the long-term study schedule to get optimal benefit for the time you spend studying. On the other hand, if you need to cram for an exam, the date-targeted schedule would be better suited.
