Intelligent Image Sizing Cloud Solution - iSize - Published on 05/24/16
Graphic designers typically face a complicated, time- consuming and GPU monopolizing task when up-sizing, (up-resizing) digital images, but no longer. London-based iSize offers a fast, user-friendly, (free or premium) cloud-based solution for increasing image size up to 8x and video resolution to 4k. iSize is a new type of cloud-based images re-sizing solution that delivers re-sized images virtually indistinguishable from images rendered at full size.
London - Graphic designers typically face a complicated, time- consuming and GPU monopolizing task when up-sizing, (up-resizing) digital images, but no longer. London-based iSize offers a fast, user-friendly, (free or premium) cloud-based solution for increasing image size up to 8x and video resolution to 4k.
By using the latest machine-learning algorithms, iSize is a new type of cloud-based images re-sizing solution that delivers re-sized images virtually indistinguishable from images rendered at full size, while dramatically reducing render times. Each image is processed and passed through optional noise filtering to produce professional grade images. iSize algorithms, based upon the latest iSize neural network learning models for different type images and videos, scale up all popular image files formats (jpg, tiff, png) and videos (mp4).
Using iSize for Singles or Batches
Simply drag and drop image files into your dedicated secure iSize folder where they are up-scaled to the requested size and resolution, then download to your PC. With a single click, preview, organize and share the files. Sharing large files is as fast as sharing small ones; any iSize image can be shared via a link with anyone, even those without an iSize account.
"iSize provides intelligent image and video up-scaling to help creatives easily process image files, animations and videos," said Sergio Grce, co-founder and CEO. "We developed a cloud based solution that uploads images with ease and scales with just a right click. Our state of the art artificial intelligence algorithms make it possible to scale up images while preserving quality and sharpness, something that was impossible to imagine until now."

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why do I need iSize?
Our state of the art machine learning algorithms allow you to increase your image or video resolutions to professional grade quality without the need for a rendering model while reducing your rendering time from hours to seconds.
2. How long does it take to iSize an image?
Time required to iSize an image will mainly depend on the input and output image resolution and to some extend on the type of the input image and consequently the iSize model used.
For example iSizing A5 into A3 @ 300dpi (24801748 pixels to 49603496 pixels) will require around 30 seconds. Similarly iSizing A4 into A2 @ 300dpi (35082480 pixels to 70164960 pixels) will take 1 minute and 15 seconds.
3. How does your pricing work?
iSize does not require render models as inputs to generate scaled up high definition images. This allows us to simplify our pricing policy. We charge by image output size rather than CPU time used. First of all, every new user gets 250 iSize points to start with. Also output images smaller than 1024px are free of charge. If you require larger output image sizes you can simply top up your iSize points and use our transparent credit point system. Please click here to see our pricing.
4. What's the maximum file size I can upload?
We can handle image files up to 100MB.
5. Can I upload multiple images at once?
Yes, our flexible file management solution not only allows you to upload multiple images but also easily upload folders. You can organize your files in a folder structure and run batch operations with a click of a mouse button. All you need to do is select a folder or multiple images and select the operation you want to perform.
6. How long are the files available for download?
When you sign up you will get 2GB of cloud storage allocated. If you exceed this storage, you will need to free up disk space for new iSizing jobs. We will only suspend and delete accounts which have been inactive for more than 1 year, but prior to doing that we will notify you via email.
7. Is my data secure?
Yes. We use latest encryption technologies to make sure your files are safe with us. If you need more details please contact us on info@isize.co
8. What file formats are supported for input and output?
JPG, TIF and PNG
9. Can I reduce or add noise/grain?
Yes you can reduce noise/grain. We have 3 levels of noise reduction.
10. Where can I see iSizing results?
Please have a look at our home page where we compare the animation model and photo model results. We compare each model against traditional renderers.
11. Can I iSize by other amounts or is 2x the only option?
We currently provide iSizing in 1.6x, 2x, 4x and 8x. Please note that current maximum output resolution is 72 megapixels.
12. What hardware does iSize require to run?
No specific hardware is necessary as iSize is a cloud based solution that runs exclusively on GPU based systems under Linux to get the best possible performance.
13. What are the system requirements?
All you need is your browser. No knowledge of any rendering or 3D modeling software is required.
14. Can you iSize videos?
We can but we have not exposed it to the users at this point in time. If you need some custom work done or want to create 4HD videos from HD, you can contact us on info@isize.co
15. Do you only iSize photos or photorealistic renders?
At the moment we have two main algorithms that can upscale photographic and animated images. You can select which algorithm you want to use in the iSize file manager. The output image results will be different, so it is important that you select the suitable algorithm based on the image you want to iSize. We are working also on other iSizing algorithms which will be available in the near future.
