MCE Technologies reduces pricing on its lineup of PCIe-based Flash Upgrades for the MacBook Pro with Retina display and MacBook Air. The MCE 1TB PCIe-based Flash upgrade for MacBook Pro (2015 models) and (Late 2013 - Mid 2014 models) is now $799.00 and $779.00, respectively. The 512GB upgrade for MacBook Pro/MacBook Air (2015 models) and (Mid 2013 - Mid 2014 models) is now $499.00 and $479.00, respectively. The 256GB PCIe-based Flash Drive upgrade for all models is priced at $299.00.

The MCE 1TB PCIe-based Flash Drive upgrade for MacBook Pro (2015 models) is now $799 and the 1TB upgrade for MacBook Pro (Late 2013 - Mid 2014) is now $779. The MCE 512GB PCIe-based Flash Drive upgrade for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (2015 models) is $499 and the 512GB upgrade for MacBook Pro (Late 2013 - Mid 2014) and MacBook Air (Mid 2013 - Early 2014) is $479.00. The MCE 256GB PCIe-based Flash Drive upgrade for all models is available for $299.00.
"The response to our PCIe-based Flash Drive Upgrades for these previously non-upgradeable machines has been phenomenal ever since their release in June of last year", stated Arnold Ramirez, president of MCE Technologies. The 1TB and 512GB MCE PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Kits for 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (2015) take advantage of the faster PCIe v3.0 (8.0GHz) architecture present in those machines and can transfer data at speeds of over 2,000MB/sec. The 1TB, 512GB, and 256GB MCE PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Kits for 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro (late 2013 through mid 2014) and MacBook Air (Mid 2013 models and later) are based on the PCIe v2.0 (5.0GHz) architecture in those machines and can transfer date at speeds of up to 1,000MB/sec. All MCE PCIe-based Flash Storage drives feature native Mac OS Trim support, Boot Camp support, as well as S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) support to ensure longevity and they carry a one year warranty.

The MCE 1TB, 512GB, and 256GB PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Solutions for the late-2013 through mid-2014 MacBook Pro with Retina Display and mid-2013 through early 2014 MacBook Air are $779.00, $479.00, and $299.00, respectively and the MCE 1TB and 512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Solutions for the MacBook Pro with Retina Display (2015 models) and MacBook Air (2015 models, 512GB only) are $799.00 and $499.00, respectively. All models are available for immediate shipment. The MCE PCIe-based Flash Storage Upgrade Solution is user-installable and each kit includes all tools required to perform the upgrade as well as an illustrated installation guide. A USB 3.0 Enclosure for reusing the original drive is available for $99.00 (USD).
