WHAT IS GIGGLE?
Giggle is a girls only social networking platform. Giggle exists to connect girls for a purpose. The app gives girls choice, control, and connection. Giggle uses a gender verification technology, bio-metric software, that only allows girls inside the app. Trans-girls are welcome on the app as Giggle is for all girls. The goal is to create a safe and secure platform for girls.

Giggle safely and securely connects you with girls who share similar interests. Giggle has 11 categories including room, travel, gigs, activism, support, health, beliefs, exercise, hobbies, mentoring & networking and social. Each category has subcategories making the possibilities on Giggle endless. Girls can find travel companions, roommates, freelance jobs, make-up artists, book clubs and so much more on Giggle. You can even donate to girl-based charities and support girl-owned businesses through the app.

Giggle is a freemium platform. All categories, connections and communication are free to use. Giggle does offer girls premium upgrades for extra features (including giggle invisible for girls that want more privacy or giggle peek where you can see who's liking your profile and giggle slide for an instant connection - but both girls must have it to ensure consent always exists.)

HOW IT WORKS
The user experience of Giggle is similar to Tinder or Bumble. Girls swipe, match and chat. A giggle is formed by a girl selecting girls who appeal to their profile and category of interest. If there is interest a girl swipes right and if not she swipes left to look at the next profile. You can form multiple "giggles" at a time with 2 to 5 girls per Giggle.

GIGGLE BELIEFS
Giggle is not anti-men. It was built on the simple belief that girls deserve their own special space online where they can safely form groups with other like-minded girls, and be free from any nastiness that can sometimes be found on other popular platforms. Giggle is not a social media as there are no sharing, likes or popularity contests. Giggle is also not a friendship app as the intention is bigger than just making friends. Real connections are formed over mutual interests.

Find or provide support to real girls about real issues. A toxic relationship, thoughts about suicide, abortion, etc. Therapy without the copay. You don't have to leave your home, you can open your Giggle world to find a girl who cares.

Giggle Activism
Connect with like-minded girls for grassroots, nationwide, or international causes. Create giggles for a real-world protest or to share ideas and information in private messages without harassment from unwelcome bystanders.

Giggle was founded by Sall Grover. Sall had a dream to move to Hollywood and become a screenwriter. Her time in Los Angeles turned into a nightmare when she witnessed ten years of harassment, abuse, and misogyny. During this time she experienced everything that the #MeToo movement represents. It wasn't until she moved to New York and lived with a group of girls, that she remembered how much better life can be. She returned home to Australia to recover and chatted with her mum about how much safer and better her life would have been if she could have privately and securely connected with groups of girls.
