"Green Kids" Picture Book App: Interactive and Environmentally Aware - Published on 09/09/20

The "Green Kids" app from LARIXPRESS shows not only the fascinating natural mountain world. Also the work that people do up there is shown. Even toddlers can have fun learning about the sustainable use of the mountains in 30 scenes with 120 lovingly animated stories. A total of 6 different mountain landscapes can be explored in every direction, showing the changes that occur over the seasons. There are also suggestions on how to protect the environment.

Bolzano, Italy - There is so much to explore in the mountains, especially for children! The new app from LARIXPRESS lets even toddlers experience the mountain landscapes in new and fascinating ways. And the stories in this picture book app are as exciting and varied as nature itself: come on unforgettable adventures with cute pets and shy wild animals, high-spirited main characters and lots of surprise guests.

Impressive scenes present various Alpine habitats, such as sunny pastures, wild peaks, emerald-green lakes and mysterious forests. The drawings for the interactive mountain stories are by the well-known Italian illustrator Licia Zuppardi.

The Green Kids picture book app lets children discover who lives up on the pastures, on the peaks, in the forests or even underground. The focus is of course also on green issues, with kids having fun as they learn all about the diversity of nature and how to help protect the environment. Even the very youngest can meet numerous mountain animals and learn how to behave so that neither they nor nature will come to any harm.

Children can move freely in every direction within the app, rediscovering completely new landscapes. They can also switch between summer and winter and see how the mountain world changes.

The app presents lots of different sports: tobogganing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, hiking, cycling, mountaineering and others too. The work people do in the Alps is also shown: jobs such as mountain guide, rescue pilot, shepherd or forester.

There are over 20 different figures that keep popping up, with funny things happening to them all the time. Many of them are also hiding and just waiting to be found, such as the yeti, the genie in the bottle and of course the little teddy bear, and many more besides!
