Specifically optimized for video playback at the highest quality, Beamer makes it possible to stream any movie file from your Mac directly to Apple TV using AirPlay. Unlike Screen Mirroring, Beamer is specifically optimized for video playback at the highest quality and it supports 5.1 surround sound. The Apple TV remote can be used to pause, fast-forward and rewind.

A limited free trial of Beamer 2, which can be unlocked with an in-app purchase, is available for download now. Beamer licenses for $15 (USD). Upgrade pricing is available for Beamer 1 license owners. Customers who purchased since October 2013 are eligible for a free upgrade.
