Vela App Inc. has announced a new partnership with Spotify to deliver the first voice control app designed for the popular streaming music service. Effortlessly search Spotify's music service, with your voice as well as navigate through songs, albums, and artists. Voice Search for Spotify 1.0 shows a large microphone button, and requires only a single touch to activate it. Once activated, the voice control allows the user to verbally interact with the app, for instant access.

Aliso Viejo, California - After enjoying success as a finalist in last year's South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Accelerator, Vela App Inc. has announced a new partnership with Spotify to deliver the first voice control app designed for the popular streaming music service. The app, available on the iTunes App Store for $0.99, creates a hands-free experience where the user can simply speak a song and artist's name, to have the song automatically play.

The intuitive app shows a large microphone button, and requires only a single touch to activate it. Once activated, the voice control allows the user to verbally interact with the app, for instant access. The voice control tool functions as a wonderful complement to Spotify's recently released Connect feature, which allows Spotify music be played over any home audio setup. The Voice Search app can also be extremely useful when used with Bluetooth or iPhone cable connections in the car.
