Monkimun, the Google's 2014 award-winning startup that builds language learning games for children, has continued its Monki line launching Monki Shake It for kids 2-6 years old. The app has four different lessons disguised as mini-games and one test to evaluate the skills acquired. As they are learning, kids receive awards they can keep in a fun tree-house. The app will be available for Android and Kindle soon. Monki Shake It is available in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

San Francisco, California - Monkimun, has introduced its newest app, Monki Shake, a language-learning app for kids between 2 and 6 years old. It has four different lessons disguised as mini-games and one test to evaluate the skills acquired. Moreover, as they are learning, kids receive awards they can keep in a fun tree-house.

* Monki Shake It melds fun and education in a unique and interactive manner
* It is available in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese
* Each lesson can be played in two different modes: tapping or shaking the device

All the content is developed by Monkimun's educational experts specifically for their target age group. Children are exposed to different grammatical structures, questions, commands and new vocabulary according to the topic of each one of the lessons - numbers, musical instruments, animals, toys, means of transport and weather.

This app can be used to reinforce a child's mother tongue or to introduce the sounds and structure of a second language; a very important step in being able to speak it fluently.

Monkimun's VP of Product, Marieta Viedma, says, "Kids learn naturally everything they hear and see. Our goal is to take advantage of that fact teaching them how to communicate in different languages in a controlled, fun and highly educative environment."
