California based Imaja has released CalReader 3, an update to their popular calendar/productivity app for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch devices. CalReader features a display of all calendar event text, unique and fluid readability of calendar logs. The app features calendar time log export, time calculations, filtering, search, and readability. Introducing redesigned icons and behavior for iOS 7, the new interface includes new iPad usability and more.
Berkeley, California - Imaja has released CalReader 3, updated for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and iOS 7. The CalReader app features calendar time log export, time calculations, filtering, search, and readability. The new interface includes new iPad usability and redesigned icons and behavior for iOS 7.
CalReader supports sync with iOS and OS X Calendar app via iCloud and iTunes, as well as external CalDAV calendars such as Google and Yahoo calendars.
Main action views include Filter settings, Actions, Display, Calculations and Extras.
Calendar event listings can be exported by e-mail as attached TEXT, CSV (Comma-Separated Values) or TSV (Tab-Separated Values) files. Event listings include the duration for each event. The export text generated by the Copy Text With Calculations command includes a header with the selected calendar names, date range and optional search text.
CalReader features a display of all calendar event text, unique and fluid readability of calendar logs. The font size can be changed instantly with touch gestures for better readability or higher density. Fonts and font sizes can also be changed in the Settings view. Several color styles are available, using variations of the user's calendar colors.
Events within a 48 hour window of the current time are highlighted on the right edge with shades of blue for recent events and shades of orange for upcoming events.
CalReader's Filter lets users easily choose a date range to filter the visible events, and Previous, This and Next buttons provide quick selection of weeks or months. The filter can use a single calendar, multiple calendars or all calendars for viewing, and includes a text search, useful for creating event listings based on keywords, phrases, names, dates or times.
CalReader calculates total hours, number of events and total amount (based on your rate per hour), and minimum, maximum and average duration for your filter settings. Filtered calender listings can be easily copied with or without time/billing calculations for pasting into user reports or e-mails, or exported as CSV or TSV files.

The game plays like classic console action adventure with crisp, vibrant and fun graphics, allowing users to run, climb, jump and fight their way through each level. Players also have access to a unique weapon, in the form of main character's baby brother Turtle Shell, who is thrown to destroy adversaries.
TurtleDuck however, goes far beyond a typical button mashing side-scrolling game. Players will collect various objects, essential to each mission and the survival of TurtleDuck. Each level will require users to find three eggs, which are TurtleDuck's unborn siblings, hidden somewhere along the way. Additionally, bread crumbs must be collected during the game, between TurtleDuck's epic battles.

Developed from Screentakes Founder Jennine Lanouette's 20+ years of lecturing on screenplay story structure, these ebooks provide in-depth analysis of great films that will increase their understanding of the art of screenwriting. The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to complete the first two ebooks.
San Rafael, California - Screentakes Digital Publishing, LLC, announces a Kickstarter campaign to launch the unique Screentakes eBook Series of media-rich, interactive, ebooks for story structure analysis. Developed out of Screentakes Founder Jennine Lanouette's 20+ years experience lecturing on screenplay story structure, these ebooks provide creative professionals and cinephiles alike with in-depth analysis of great films that will increase their understanding of the art of screenwriting.

Developed out of Screentakes Founder Jennine Lanouette's 20+ years experience lecturing on screenplay story structure, these ebooks provide creative professionals and cinephiles alike with in-depth analysis of great films that will increase their understanding of the art of screenwriting.
Each ebook combines Lanouette's distinctive analysis with video and audio clips, still photos and interactive graphics. The goal of the campaign is to do finishing work on the prototype ebook analyzing the beloved classic, "The African Queen" and produce a second ebook on "Thelma & Louise," while also making them available for iOS, Android and web streaming.
"We have a cultural bias about text on a page," says Lanouette. "We think we have to be reading to be learning. My prototype multimedia ebook demonstrates that the combination of visuals, audio and text, plus some interactivity, makes for an engaging and enjoyable learning experience, even for the heady, in-depth structural analysis that I provide. What this means for me is that I get to take this subject I love to teach and make it available to many, many more people than I could ever reach in classrooms."

Jumsoft, developer of top-quality applications and templates for OS X and iOS, has updated its range of templates for Apple's Pages. The latest version of the Inspiration Set application includes 43 new, stylish and functional designs, adding up to 350 templates for a variety of document types. Most elements in the Inspiration Set can be easily edited. Stock images can be replaced with users' own photos or pictures. All templates are available in both paper size A4 and U.S. Letter.
Vilnius, Lithuania - Jumsoft, developer of top-quality applications and templates for OS X and iOS, has updated its range of templates for Apple's Pages. The latest version of the Inspiration Set application includes 43 new, stylish and functional designs, adding up to 350 templates for a variety of document types.
The Inspiration Set offers an immense choice of content types, from brochures and business cards to event tickets and jar labels. Some designs include up to 28 page layouts, and the remarkably chic Catalog template contains a whopping 51 different sections. In total, the set provides a comprehensive collection of over 1,200 layouts that will meet users' varied needs.
"Many of the newly added templates were designed with various summer events in mind," said Algirdas Unguvaitis, general manager of Jumsoft. "They include posters and flyers, photo albums for weddings and vacations, and a tournament chart for the upcoming soccer World Cup. And our designers are already back at their desks drawing up the next batch."
Most elements in the Inspiration Set can be easily recolored, moved, or removed. Users can type or paste in their own text, add and remove text boxes, and change the fonts. Stock images can be replaced with users' own photos or pictures. All templates are available in both paper size A4 - the standard size in most countries throughout the world - and U.S. Letter, the most common paper format in the United States and Canada.

Jumsoft, developer of top-quality applications and templates for OS X and iOS, has updated its range of templates for Apple's Pages. The latest version of the Inspiration Set application includes 43 new, stylish and functional designs, adding up to 350 templates for a variety of document types. Most elements in the Inspiration Set can be easily edited. Stock images can be replaced with users' own photos or pictures. All templates are available in both paper size A4 and U.S. Letter.
Vilnius, Lithuania - Jumsoft, developer of top-quality applications and templates for OS X and iOS, has updated its range of templates for Apple's Pages. The latest version of the Inspiration Set application includes 43 new, stylish and functional designs, adding up to 350 templates for a variety of document types.
The Inspiration Set offers an immense choice of content types, from brochures and business cards to event tickets and jar labels. Some designs include up to 28 page layouts, and the remarkably chic Catalog template contains a whopping 51 different sections. In total, the set provides a comprehensive collection of over 1,200 layouts that will meet users' varied needs.
"Many of the newly added templates were designed with various summer events in mind," said Algirdas Unguvaitis, general manager of Jumsoft. "They include posters and flyers, photo albums for weddings and vacations, and a tournament chart for the upcoming soccer World Cup. Most elements in the Inspiration Set can be easily recolored, moved, or removed. Users can type or paste in their own text, add and remove text boxes, and change the fonts. Stock images can be replaced with users' own photos or pictures. The addictive new game pits players against the clock to fill their bucket with designated fruit. The app is characterized by bold and colorful fruit that players must collect as they navigate through multiple levels. Cambridge, Canada - MoKool Apps has struck gold again with the release of its newest game application, Fruit Frenzy. The addictive new game pits players against the clock to fill their bucket with designated fruit. The app is characterized by bold and colorful fruit that players must collect as they navigate through multiple levels. Gamers are provided with a virtual bucket in which to collect their fruit as it falls from the sky. The basket can be moved across the screen by swiping it, or by slightly tilting the phone from side to side.
�This is the best game we have released to date, with 250 levels, five worlds and cool challenges,� said Mukul Verma, founder of MoKool Apps.
Fruit Frenzy is the perfect app to while away the warm days of summer, but one that won�t be quickly completed. The game features five worlds and 250 levels. Players are given missions to complete on each level involving the collection of specified types of fruits.
Players have the ability to earn power ups including double lives and, 2 time fruit multiplier, bigger bucket or time increases to help complete their mission. A variety of bonuses can be earned and purchases made. Gamers can keep playing with �do-overs� if they fail to accomplish their mission or run out of time.
Users earn a star rating ranging from one to three upon the completion of each level. Players have the option of replaying the level to attain a coveted three-star rating or moving on to the next fruity challenge and returning at a later time to earn their three-star rating for accuracy.

Although Apple will continue to support Objective-C long into the future, it has been confirmed that all iOS 8 and Yosemite applications will support development using Swift. Therefore, Swift will quickly become a pre-requisite to any budding or seasoned Apple developer's resume.

ChronoSync is a Mac app that can synchronize, backup, and create bootable backups. ChronoSync can synchronize or backup to most anything you can connect to your Mac, including folders on your Mac, other Macs, PC's, and external drives. "The new Document Organizer enables you to create, run, edit, and schedule your syncs and backups all from one window. It really provides ChronoSync users with a simple control center, whether you have one or multiple syncs or backups," said Joe Japes, Econ's Marketing Director. In addition to the Document Organizer, this update includes support for Apple's Notification Center, 64-bit processors, and Retina displays. ChronoSync is now a 64-bit app, allowing access to more memory and the use of more advanced APIs and system technologies. "Migrating from 32 to 64-bit and maintaining compatibility across application and OS versions was very challenging," said D. Proni, Econ's Senior Software Engineer. "We devoted a lot of time and effort into squeezing as much performance out of the program as possible."
Version 4.5 includes performance increases across the board when running bootable backups, scanning files, opening & closing ChronoSync documents, and when communicating with ChronoAgent. Most notable is the ChronoSync to ChronoAgent performance boost which provides faster scans between two Macs. ChronoAgent, the undercover operative that works with ChronoSync, is an invisible application that runs on a destination Mac and communicates directly with ChronoSync running on a source Mac. ChronoAgent replaces Apple File Sharing, providing a direct connection with full access to the destination Mac.
ChronoSync 4.5 is our largest update in years. The new features do not end with the Document Organizer, Apple's Notification Center, Retina-Optimized Graphics and 64-bit performance. There are literally over 100 additional features and enhancements in ChronoSync 4.5.

Version 4.5 includes performance increases across the board when running bootable backups, scanning files, opening & closing ChronoSync documents, and when communicating with ChronoAgent. Most notable is the ChronoSync to ChronoAgent performance boost which provides faster scans between two Macs. ChronoAgent, the undercover operative that works with ChronoSync, is an invisible application that runs on a destination Mac and communicates directly with ChronoSync running on a source Mac. ChronoAgent replaces Apple File Sharing, providing a direct connection with full access to the destination Mac.
ChronoSync 4.5 is our largest update in years. The new features do not end with the Document Organizer, Apple's Notification Center, Retina-Optimized Graphics and 64-bit performance. There are literally over 100 additional features and enhancements in ChronoSync 4.5.
ChronoSync can synchronize or backup to anything you can connect to your Mac. That includes folders on your Mac, other Macs, PC's, external drives, NAS drives, or anything you can mount to your Mac.
