By allowing children to explore an open-ended, underwater environment in which they are in control, Chili Fish has already been a hit with test groups. Chili Fish is a "sandbox" app, meaning that children are not given a goal, as in traditional games, but rather are encouraged to create their own environment. They can create unique fish by selecting body parts, colors, or even stamps.
Every fish also has its own personality and tastes, and children can interact with the fish by feeding them or hatching new eggs. This variety of possibilities has been appealing to children, who enjoy molding their own worlds, and Chili Fish has the research to back it up.

The object of the game is to draw shapes. To draw, just tap a dot to select it and then tap another dot to draw a line between them. Players draw lines, but cannot go over that line again. They advance to levels by successfully drawing shapes. Subsequent levels are more challenging to complete as the shapes become harder to draw.
Newton, Massachusetts - Wyatt Mufson, a freshman at Northwestern University and independent developer, has released Draw Me That for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Draw Me That is a free, fun, and easy to learn puzzle/drawing game. The object of the game is to draw shapes. Drawing works like writing on a piece of paper and not being allowed to lift up the pencil. Once a line is drawn, the player cannot go over that line again. Players advance to subsequent levels by successfully drawing shapes.
Draw Me That is easy to learn but hard to master. Draw each shape to advance to the next level. The shapes are comprised of dots connected by dotted lines. To draw, just tap a dot to select it and then tap another dot to draw a line between them. A line cannot be made between two dots if a line is already present. Subsequent levels are more challenging to complete as the shapes become harder to draw.

This is not your run-of-the mill routine test preparation app. This app is smart and uses the principles of adaptive software concept to really help the students. This version of the app caters only to Math and is divided into four skills similar to SAT test, i.e. geometry, algebra, arithmetic and statistics and probability.
Students need to take a short skill test on each of these areas. Based on the test, a custom menu of topics is created that needs more attention from the students. Ergonis Software has announced the release of Typinator 6.4, a new version of their popular text expander. The new version comes comes with a new feature that lets you nest existing abbreviations inside other expansions. You can use this feature to insert previously defined expansions in new ones, for example to insert a completely assembled date in another expansion, or to add a formatted signature at the end of a boilerplate mail template.
Perg, Austria - Ergonis Software has announced the release of Typinator 6.4, a new version of their popular text expander. Typinator is a powerful, yet elegantly simple solution that boosts your productivity by automating the process of inserting frequently used text and auto-correcting typing errors. Across all applications, it detects specific sequences of typed characters and automatically replaces them with text snippets, graphics, URLs, dates and special characters.
Typinator 6.4 comes with a new feature that lets you reuse existing abbreviations inside other expansions. To do so, you just specify an abbreviation within the definition of another expansion. When Typinator expands the container expansion, it also replaces the nested abbreviation with its corresponding expansion.
The included expansion may also contain other markers and even regular expressions. On 22 January, SummerTimeStudio will release it's first of five games to kick off the new year; Courage of Fire for iOS devices. Each stage is a sea of flames, reproduced with realistic qualities. Use the joystick on the left side of the screen to move. Use the joystick on the right to control your hose. Players will have to buy better equipment to better fight those fires. Aim for the center of the fire to quickly put out the flames. We're looking for one brave firefighter!
Okinawa, Japan - SummerTimeStudio, the Okinawa-based smartphone, tablet, and VR hardware game designer, would like to announce the upcoming release of its 13th title, "Courage of Fire." The app is a fire survival action game! Each stage - warehouses, sewers, subway systems, the streets - is a sea of flames, reproduced with realistic qualities. Don't let the fire get out of hand, or else you may not survive. Let the action begin!
The game is easy to control. Use the joystick on the left side of the screen to move, but be careful not to get too close to the flames! With the oven at 1400 degrees Fahrenheit, we're not talking about first-degree burns. Use the joystick on the right to control your hose. Continue to tap for more water pressure. Aim for the center of the fire to quickly put out the flames.
You'll have to buy better equipment to better fight those fires! Firefighters improve in their job with experience, but experience will only get you so far without the proper items to bolster your arsenal against the raging inferno. The shop provides the necessary equipment to further increase your firefighting skills! Build your firefighter and stand up to the flames!

Over his career, he has worked in both the UK and the USA on numerous Nintendo titles including Banjo-Kazooie, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and more. Prior to founding Squarehead Studios, Rhys was the AI lead at Retro Studios. Their mission is to make fun games that are easy to play, yet deep and engaging enough to keep you coming back for more.

Prior to founding Squarehead Studios, Rhys was the AI lead at Retro Studios. Over his career, he has worked in both the UK and the USA on numerous Nintendo titles including Banjo-Kazooie, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns: Tropical Freeze.

Rhys and David first crossed paths at Rare (although they were on different teams at the time) and were reunited again when they worked on Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze at Retro Studios.
