Brand new war game is coming out on the 1st of June 2014. Sirocco Mobile is releasing DEFENSE 39! The game is Free, presenting a totally unique gameplay challenge and a whole new approach to the Tower Defense genre. Our goal is to bring back the heroism of the Polish army. The game will let you relive the defense of several locations stormed by the Nazis. With hundreds of enemy units on-screen, weaponry which makes a difference, the game came out to be absulutely unique.
Gliwice, Poland - Brand new war game is coming out on the 1st of June 2014. Sirocco Mobile is realesing DEFENSE '39. The game is Free, presenting a totally unique gameplay challenges and a whole new approach to the Tower Defense genre. Available on AppStore and GooglePlay, and we are targeting Windows market soon too.
We may not have the thousands of dollars required for a full-scale marketing campaign, nor be particularly good at this stuff. But we make games and we believe that the game itself counts, not the marketing. We therefore ask you for a review of Defense '39 (or just mention about it) and hope that together we can prove that a good game can shine out, without all this PR and marketing gibberish.
There is a trailer movie available, which should give you some idea on how the game works.
Games rarely take up the events of the September 1939, when Nazi Germany attacked Poland, leading to the break out the World War II. Our goal is to bring back the heroism of the Polish army, which faced the gargantuan technical and manpower advantage of the enemy. The game will let you relive the defense of several locations stormed by the Nazis. Fiercely standing ground against the enemy tide, their defenders faced odds as dramatic as 40:1. We succeded at introducing a brand new, innovative approach to the Tower Defense genre. With hundreds of enemy units on-screen, weaponry which really DOES make a difference, instead of just changing a few stats and the unbelieveably intuitive aiming system, the game came out to be absulutely unique and dangerously addictive.
As dedicated opponents of in-game microtransactions, here at Sirocco Mobile we decided to introduce a single-time extra feature payment system (Defense Super Pack), which will allow the player to fully enjoy the game and all its features without any additional expenses. The upgrade system is based on collecting medals during gameplay, so it is as easy as collecting them, instead of spending your money on endless microtransactions. It does not get any easier than that and the player has the cetrainty that the game won't ask for payment in order to allow progression at some point.
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy the game (at least as much as we and our QA department did!) and will take some time to write a review of it on your website.

From over 3400 submissions of ornamental creations by 740 artists from 52 countries the jury selected the the 30 most spectacular artists. Their stunning creations were presented in the June issue of the journal and online on iOrnaments Facebook page.
Munich, Germany - The symmetry drawing app iOrnament jointly with the popular German science monthly Spektrum der Wissenschaft organized a drawing competition connecting mathematics and art. In February and March users of the iOrnament App were invited to give in their creations they produced with the iOS app. The competition attracted 740 artists from 52 countries who submitted all together more than 3400 ornaments. A jury consisting of professor Jurgen Richter-Gebert, the creator of iOrnament, Christoph Poppe, editor of Spektrum der Wissenschaft, Katharina Rasp, graphics designer, and Martin von Gagern, mathematician and computer graphics expert selected the most stunning, intricate, mesmerizing or simply beautiful ornaments.
"The variety of styles and expressions is simply unbelievable", says the author of the app. "From minimlistic geometric sketches via subtle color studies to wild provokative and expressive drawings everything is present. The winner ornaments are cool pieces of art and a lot of personality shines through all of them".
The symmetry app iOrnament takes hand drawn stroke input on an iPad or iPhone and repeats it according to the rules of selected ornamental patterns. By this and the expressive power of the drawing apps pens and colors it provokes a very personal dialogue between the active user and the app. Every stroke may bring in an unexpected twist to a drawing and creating good ornaments becomes both an intellectual and artistic challenge. As a consequence the ornaments carry quite often an Escheresque flavor and are attractive to creative artistic people, as well as to scientifically oriented users.
The winner ornaments are currently presented in the June issue of Spektrum der Wissenschaft. They are also available online on the facebook page of iOrnament. Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Independent developer, Erwin Zwart has released Lockscreen Wallpaper Designer, an app to create lockscreen wallpapers designed to work with the iOS7 lockscreen. The lockscreen plays an important part of the day to day experience with your device, since it's the first thing you see when waking up your device. However, a lot of iOS7 users have difficulties in finding a suitable lockscreen wallpaper, because of the parallax effect and the use of thin and transparent UI elements like the current time and date. Lockscreen Wallpaper Designer creates a wallpaper which combines one of the user's picture with a dynamically generated blur, resulting in a personal and clean looking lockscreen.

The user can view any Stamps photo taken in a 30 mile radius, which connects people with others in their city. The goal of Stamps is to enable people to connect with their location through the universally enjoyed platform of photography. The newest update allows the user to see photos anywhere in the world.
Austin, Texas - Stamps - Anonymous and Local Photo Sharing is an anonymous photo app that lets people share their experiences with anyone nearby. Every picture is tied to its GPS location for 14 days before it disappears. The user can view any Stamps photo taken in a 30 mile radius, which connects people with others in their city.
The newest update allows the user to see photos anywhere in the world, including the top 10 trending locations. A person can "take a trip" to any city on earth to see what others have been posting. Each "trip" provides a snapshot into the lives and world of a different city.
Because the photos expire, people must pay close attention when viewing or else miss out. It also allows people to not be shy when sharing the random moments from their lives. Once each photo expires, it is replaced by a colorful "cover." The person then swipes the photo to tell whether or not they liked it. Although Stamps are always posted anonymously, the recipient of a "like" receives a notification that their particular photo was "liked" by a person's chosen nickname. This makes interaction possible throughout the app. The goal of Stamps is to enable people to connect with their location through the universally enjoyed platform of photography.
