MacX DVD Ripper Pro V6.0 Marks the Fastest 64-bit DVD Ripper for Mojave
A new article has been published at prMac.
MacX DVD Ripper Pro V6.0 Marks the Fastest 64-bit DVD Ripper for Mojave - Published on 06/13/18
MacXDVD today announces MacX DVD Ripper Pro 6.0.0, a major upgrade to its flagship DVD ripper. MacX DVD Ripper Pro is able to rip protected/homemade DVDs to any format fast and efficiently. The latest version offers full support for 64-bit macOS 10.14 Mojave and later. The release extends MacXDVD Software's lead in providing the most refined DVD ripping solution to help customers rip DVDs among digital formats & devices in the world's fastest speed on advanced 64-bit computers.
Chengdu, China - MacXDVD Software, a leading multimedia solution provider, today announced the immediate availability of MacX DVD Ripper Pro V6.0.0, the No.1 fast 64-bit DVD ripper till today. The upgraded macOS DVD ripper is built from the ground up using the 64-bit architecture, so it will be just as powerful when customers migrate to 64-bit computing with latest macOS 10.14 Mojave or later systems.
On WWDC 2018, Apple announced that macOS Mojave would be the last to support 32-bit apps, with the new Xcode 10 dropping support for 32-bit macOS apps. In April, Apple started warning macOS users that 32-bit apps would not be optimized for the system. Many 32-bit only programs like QuickTime framework, Java 1.6 Apple framework, and Carbon HLTB fail to survive in the 64-bit transition. While most other DVD ripping programs are out with the coming 64-bit macOS, MacXDVD Software is sprinting out ahead with V6.0.0. To maximize the usability of MacX DVD Ripper Pro's unparalleled performance, the developer revamped the program to offer full support for 64-bit macOS, making it a flexible solution in a wide variety of macOS versions.
"Our goal is to provide our customers with uninterrupted efficient solutions even when Apple kills support for 32-bit apps," said Jack Han, CEO of MacXDVD Software, "In order to do this we have ensured that our DVD ripper is seamlessly integrated with 64-bit macOS Mojave and later."
MacX DVD Ripper Pro has long been synonymous with the fastest and most reliable DVD ripping experience for Mac users. Laden with the world's unique support for Intel QSV, Nvidia Cuda/Nvenc, and AMD hardware acceleration solutions, it can fully harness the power of GPU in the whole DVD ripping process. This workflow maximizes the performance in three aspects: at a blistering "5 minutes-for-a-full-disc" speed, it's 5x faster than its closest competition; it solves common problems like computer overheating and freezing due to overloaded CPU, and it allows even a low-configuration computer to deliver a decent ripping experience.
Not only that, MacX DVD Ripper Pro is able to convert DVDs to 350 popular digital formats like DVD to MP4, ISO image, MPEG, HEVC H.265, MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV, etc, as well as latest devices from Apple, Samsung, Android and more. It's a single solution which fits the widest range of DVD discs, including 99-title DVDs, workout DVDs, and damaged DVDs. All those features can beat the rest by a long shot. With the support for 64 bit, the world's leading solution offers a wider reach and added flexibility into macOS generations that users can enjoy the benefits.
Pricing and Availability:
MacX DVD Ripper Pro is priced at $67.95 (USD) for a single copy. Now it's 70% off together with the fastest 4K video converter and one-click iPhone data manager during MacXDVD Software's 8th Anniversary Special Offer.

Creolabs announces Creo - The new way to build native mobile apps - Published on 06/13/18
Creolabs today introduces Creo, their next generation mobile app development for macOS. Traditional mobile app creation process is split between the design process and the development process; Creo merges the two separated steps into a single tool which enables you to focus on what makes your app unique. Creo offers drag-and-drop controls, classes, and objects that can be easily configured. Complex app navigation hierarchies and windows can be easily created with just few mouse clicks.
Parma, Italy - Creolabs is proud to announce the launching of Creo, their next generation mobile app development for MacOS. Creo combines the Design and Development process into a single easy to use application. Traditional mobile app creation process is split between the design process and the development process, Creo merges the two separated steps into a single tool which enables you to focus on what makes your app unique instead of wasting time building a nonfunctional prototype or writing the same code to perform the most common operations.
Creo offers drag-and-drop controls, classes, and objects that can be configured using a very intuitive interface. Complex app navigation hierarchies and windows can be easily created with just few mouse clicks. While building the app's interface, the user is also effectively building a native app. Creo uses Creolabs CreoKIT Objective-C/Swift native framework that enables Creo to execute any iOS code, (Android coming soon) directly on MacOS. This powerful technology offers a way to preview your running code directly in the Creo app.
While Creo offers an easy way to preview mobile application code on the Mac, it also offers a native iOS app that can run the Creo code developed on the Mac, so developers can get a true feel for how their code will look on the target device. Testing Creo apps directly on a mobile device is as simple as making sure both the mobile device and the Mac are on the same network, running the Creo player app on the mobile device, and pressing the "Send" key on the Mac app. The app transfers to the device, and runs as any native mobile app normally would.
"Designing and developing mobile apps with traditional tools has always been an involved and time consuming process" says Marco Bambini, founder of Creolabs. "With Creo, we have created a better development tool that streamlines the app development process. By allowing users to combine the design and code process into one workflow, we are enhancing their app development methodology."
Creo developed the CreoKit framework to allow the execution of iOS and Android code on a MacOS without making any major changes. The framework allows developers to design and develop their apps, and then immediately test them directly on their Mac. The CreoKit framework is also available for licensing as a standalone product for developers, offering a way for them to easily port their mobile apps to the MacOS in just a few minutes.
"We didn't want to reinvent the wheel, but we knew we needed a way for the Creo development tool to execute mobile code on the MacOS," adds Marco. "We knew we needed to come up with a way to merge design with code to give developers the ability to preview the app directly on their Mac, that's when CreoKit was born."
Pricing and Availability:
Creo 1.0 is just $99 USD (or an equivalent amount in other currencies) and is available worldwide exclusively through the Creolabs website.

MacUpdater Automatically Identifies Mac Apps in Need of Updates

MacUpdater Automatically Identifies Mac Apps in Need of Updates - Published on 06/13/18
Malta-based indie development team, CoreCode today announces MacUpdater 1.2.7, their new app updating utility for macOS. The handy utility scans a Mac's Applications folder to identify applications that have updates available. Once identified, out-of-date applications can be updated with just a few clicks of the mouse. MacUpdater runs silently in the background, notifying users when an update is available. No registration is required, and app usage isn't tracked in any way.
St. Julians, Malta - Independent development team, CoreCode today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of MacUpdater 1.2.7, their new app updating utility for macOS. MacUpdater scans any Mac's Application folder, quickly identifying installed applications that have updates available. Apps can then be updated with just a few clicks of the mouse.
In addition to its speedy manual scanning abilities, MacUpdater can be set to run automatically at startup, placing itself in the Menu Bar, where it runs quietly in the background. The app periodically checks installed apps for any available updates, notifying users when a new update is available. A handy numbered icon indicator keeps a tally of how many apps need updating, and the update process can be started by clicking the Menu Bar icon.
"While the Mac App Store does a good job of updating apps that are purchased in the Mac App Store, there isn't a reliable way to know when the apps you've downloaded and installed from other sources require an update," says CoreCode marketing manager Brigitte Zmoelnig. "MacUpdater gets rid of the drudgery of manually checking your apps one-by-one for updates, making it convenient to let the app take care of things."
MacUpdater not only checks for available app updates, in most cases the utility can also download and install the update for you. When MacUpdater can't automatically update an app, it can launch the app's updater for you. The app even detects when Mac App Store apps need an update. While MacUpdater can't update those apps, it can open the Mac App Store, so users can update the app there.
Features include:
* Automatically tracks the latest updates available for installed Mac apps
* Finds the latest version that's compatible with the installed macOS version
* Apps with updates listed in red for easy detection

* Provides one-click update for many apps, just click the "Update" button for any app
* Loads at startup, runs quietly in the background
* Low impact on system resources
* Notifies users when updates are available
* Filter Bar: Show all apps, or just apps that are not up-to-date
* Menu Bar icon indicates how many app updates are available
* Optionally makes backups of app before updating them
* Use concurrently on up to 5 Macs

Econ has produced software that runs on Apple products for over 20 years. Econ Technologies, Inc. was established in Central Florida in 1991. It is named after the Econlockhatchee River, which flows past the site of our original office where all of this began. On October 31, 2001 we introduced our first app, Portraits & Prints, that was developed specifically for macOS. We followed that up with ChronoSync which was first released February 15, 2002. Since that time ChronoSync has gone through numerous updates and we have never charged for a single update. On July 29, 2013 we launched InterConneX for the iPad followed by InterConneX for the iPhone in September. All Material and Software (C) Copyright 2018 Econ Technologies. All Rights Reserved.
