Innovator of power/solar, antennas and RF products, QuickerTek is offering 20% off two lines of internal 802.11ac wireless cards for the month of July. The qCard 2 and 3 provide 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE for slightly older MacBook Air and Pro models running 10.10.x. Wichita, Kansas - 802.11ac wireless is fast - as much as twice the speed of the previous 802.11 n wireless of the built-in MacBook wireless card. This high-speed wireless provides streaming video, video conferencing with no hiccups, fast media file downloads and nearly instant web browsing. QuickerTek offers two lines of internal wireless cards which provide older Macs with 802.11ac capabilities.
Any last generation MacBook Pro or Air running Mac OS X 10.10.x and a PCIe bus is a candidate for the qCard 2 or qCard 3. Bluetooth 4.0 LE is also added with this product as the qCard 2 and 3 uses the same number of internal antennas as the latest generation MacBooks. Installation is easy, saving you money on "hidden costs" for repair shop labor.
The mCard is offered in three versions to provide 802.11ac capabilities for a broad spectrum of 2007-2012 iMac, Mac Pro and MacBook Pro models. In addition to 802.11ac networking, the product also allows your Mac to utilize Bluetooth. Software drivers are supplied by QuickerTek, and the WiFi card is user installable.
