Simply drag, import or paste images and text onto the PageMeUp document then resize and place them on the page. A powerful snap assistant will help you at aligning the boxes on the page. Edit and format your text, scale the images (custom, fit, fill), apply the color profile, shadow, fill or gradient background, border, mask, rotation, opacity, flip, web links, page HTML metadata; then print or export as PDF, HTML, TIFF, PNG or JPG using your ICC Color Profile (CMYK or RGB), compressions, quality and resolution.
Version 1.0.3 is a recommended update for all customers, offering a number of bug fixes and improvements.
* Addressed an issue at managing the paragraph indicators on the text box ruler view. Show the ruler view pressing Command-R then double click within a text box. You will see the paragraph limiters and the tabs on the ruler view. You can modify each of them by dragging them on the ruler view. To create a new tab just click on the ruler view. Change the tab (to left, right, centre and decimal tab) by Control-Clicking on the tab indicator and selecting the tab kind from the contextual popup menu.
* Pressing the arrow keys on the keyboard will move the selected boxes by one pixel. If the page units is set to millimeters, the boxes will move by one millimeter. Holding down the Shift key will multiply the offset by 5. Holding down the Option key will divide the offset by 10.
* Addressed an an issue at exporting (File:Export menu item) a given range of pages to a PDF document.
* Addressed an issue at resizing a text box when the snap option is on.
* Other minor fixes and improvements.

Unlike software designed for home users, BatchPhoto is designed to help professionals save time by automating critical image management functions. BatchPhoto can also transform color images into black and white pictures, charcoal images, or sepia-tone photos and more.

With BatchPhoto the user can easily annotate images in batches. For example the Date filter can stamp photos with the date and time of capture (as retrieved from the EXIF meta-data), the Watermark-Text and Watermark-Logo filters can visually watermark images with text or logos, and the Comment filter can add paragraphs of text to pictures. BatchPhoto supports more than 170 image formats, and can automatically convert from one format to another. It even handles the RAW format used by many digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras.
The software helps create profiles that define which transformations to apply to each image in a batch. Alternatively, users can enhance a single image by simply right-clicking it and selecting a profile. The software performs a series of operations on the image, such as changing the number of dots per inch (DPI), auto-rotating the images from portrait to landscape, rotating them a specified number of degrees, and cropping photos by cutting a rectangular section out of each image.
The software can automatically detect and fix problems with contrast, brightness, gamma settings, and sharpness. BatchPhoto transforms color images into black and white pictures, charcoal images, or sepia-tone photos, and allows application of solarization and embossing effects to images.

Automatic Batch Photo Conversion and Editing for Mac and Windows - Published on 08/02/14
Bits&Coffee has released BatchPhoto v. 4.0, an image manipulation application for Mac OS X and Windows that lets photography professionals and enthusiasts enhance and manipulate hundreds of images in a single operation. Unlike software designed for home users, BatchPhoto is designed to help professionals save time by automating critical image management functions. BatchPhoto can also transform color images into black and white pictures, charcoal images, or sepia-tone photos and more.
Craiova, Romania - Bits&Coffee is pleased to introduce BatchPhoto for Mac OSX and Windows. New features in v. 4.0 include a completely rewritten user interface with a new Dark-theme, one universal version for both Windows and Mac, a fully Retina-ready Mac version which is now available in the Mac App Store, drag & drop functionality for the graphical filters, and a new Auto Crop filter for automatically cropping photos to a predefined aspect-ratio.
With BatchPhoto the user can easily annotate images in batches. For example the Date filter can stamp photos with the date and time of capture (as retrieved from the EXIF meta-data), the Watermark-Text and Watermark-Logo filters can visually watermark images with text or logos, and the Comment filter can add paragraphs of text to pictures. BatchPhoto supports more than 170 image formats, and can automatically convert from one format to another. It even handles the RAW format used by many digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras.
The software helps create profiles that define which transformations to apply to each image in a batch. Alternatively, users can enhance a single image by simply right-clicking it and selecting a profile. The software performs a series of operations on the image, such as changing the number of dots per inch (DPI), auto-rotating the images from portrait to landscape, rotating them a specified number of degrees, and cropping photos by cutting a rectangular section out of each image.
The software can automatically detect and fix problems with contrast, brightness, gamma settings, and sharpness. BatchPhoto transforms color images into black and white pictures, charcoal images, or sepia-tone photos, and allows application of solarization and embossing effects to images.
