With your iPhone or iPad mounted to your handle bars, Over The Bars makes use of your bicycles built-in steering inputs- your handlebars, to control your rider in the game. And with your Wahoo KICKR or KICKR Snap indoor power trainer, your own strength and endurance is put to the test as you grind your way through climbs that are reflected in the KICKR's resistance braking, and sprint back down while battling it out with other AI controlled cyclists. Of course, the game can still be enjoyed even without the KICKR and handlebar mount- there are modes to play just by tilting the device to steer and accelerate.
Power-ups can be found on the course, giving you speed boosts, a "bed of nails" you can drop and cripple your other players, and many other good and horrible surprises await the player. Be careful though, as this game is high stakes- it's not called Over The Bars for nothing. The spills and wrecks are spectacular, with ragdoll physics and cringe worthy falls that make you glad you're just playing a game, and not risking your life on the real road.

Indie developers, Pavlo Karnaukhov and Natalia Kursa today announced the official release of Melody Composer Squared 1.2, an update to their popular music editor for iOS devices. Melody Composer Squared was developed specifically for creating, browsing and editing melodies using their conversions to images. The app uses a diagram, with a coordinate system with two coordinates. The method produces static images on the diagram and suitable for melodies of 4, 8, 12 and 16 bars.
Kiev, Ukraine - Indie developers, Pavlo Karnaukhov and Natalia Kursa today are pleased to announce the official release of Melody Composer Squared 1.2, an update to their popular music editor developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Melody Composer Squared was developed specifically for creating, browsing and editing melodies using their conversions to images. The app uses a diagram, with a coordinate system with two coordinates: one coordinate corresponds to a pitch of a musical note, and the second corresponds to a duration of a note or a pause. The method produces static images on the diagram and suitable for melodies of 4, 8, 12 and 16 bars (*).
In the menu that opens when you click on the button below the diagram, users can find a library with 10 famous classic melodies: open the library/Classic. Here are visualizations of melodies by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Bizet, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, and Pierpont. The library will be supplemented with new melodies in future updates.
"The idea of color music was somewhat compromised by researchers, who had made it without a clear approach when using random experiments instead of completed results," said Pavlo Karnaukhov, visualization author. "So our desire was to put an end to this issue by creating a well thought-out algorithm for the transformation of chords to colors."
Version 1.2 introduces 5 new melodies in a library and a new classic melody in the Classic section (10. Mozart. Allegro). To achieve more stability in a play mode, the method of a switching of the instruments was also changed. Pavlo Karnaukhov is an author of the visualization method and algorithms. Natalia Kursa implemented the code. The duo is currently working on adding color reproduction to the app, which can provide an experience from musical intervals and chords.
A famous german philosopher and mathematician Gottfried Leibniz said "Music is a hidden arithmetic exercise of the soul, which does not know that it is counting. But everything hidden will be revealed. A new approach to music visualization helps us watch a path of a melody from a beginning to the end.

Heart Graph plots high resolution graphs of heart rate and allows comparison of those graphs and other workout statistics between sessions. The new app will allow Apple Watch users to see the time spent in different heart rate zones while exercising, as well as a graph of up to 12 hours of recent heart rate data.
Oxford, United Kingdom - Smoky Cat Software Ltd. today announced that Heart Graph version 4.0 is now available on the App Store for iPhone(R), iPad(R) and iPod touch(R). Heart Graph lets users see graphically how their heart rate behaves during exercise or other periods of time, and supports comparison and analysis of the heart rate graph and other statistics across sessions. New with v4.0 Apple Watch(R) users can use the native WatchOS Heart Graph app to graph their heart rate on their wrist while they exercise, see time spent in different heart rate zones, or review up to 12 hours of heart rate data recorded by the Apple Watch. Oxford-based Smoky Cat Software Ltd. today announced that Heart Graph version 4.0 with Apple Watch app is now available to download on the App Store. Heart Graph plots high resolution graphs of heart rate and allows comparison of those graphs and other workout statistics between sessions. The new app will allow Apple Watch users to see the time spent in different heart rate zones while exercising, as well as a graph of up to 12 hours of recent heart rate data.

Heart Graph lets users see graphically how their heart rate behaves during exercise or other periods of time, and supports comparison and analysis of the heart rate graph and other statistics across sessions. New with v4.0 Apple Watch(R) users can use the native WatchOS Heart Graph app to graph their heart rate on their wrist while they exercise, see time spent in different heart rate zones, or review up to 12 hours of heart rate data recorded by the Apple Watch. Existing data stored in the Health app can also be imported, and the new "Zone Totals" feature can be used to analyse time spent in different heart rate zones across sessions on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
