Godspeed Commander Touches Down on iOS and Android - Published on 05/07/15
Nah-Meen Studios has announced Godspeed Commander 1.0, their new game title for iOS & Android devices. With intense, real time, cross-platform combat, Godspeed Commander places players in control of their destiny as they customize spaceships, select weapons, hire crew and battle with friends or strangers across the galaxy. The game creates its signature multiplayer experience with inspiration from Sci-Fi, Action & Strategy genres & combat rooted in the platform's successful Match-3 mechanic.
Pearl River, New York - Nah-Meen Studios has announced the release and immediate availability of Godspeed Commander 1.0, their new game title for iOS and Android devices. Godspeed Commander places players in a vibrant, randomly generated space where they battle with other players, climbing the ranks from Civilian to become the most deadly Commander in the galaxy. Players select from 10 ships to command in battle. Each ship needs to be outfitted with weapons, a process left entirely up to the player's imagination. They choose from 7 systems which are represented as "gems" on the combat matching board. Across the 7 system types, there are over 50 different items to choose from with varying shapes that fit together in different configurations, making every ship unique. As players make matches during combat, the weapons they have placed on their ship attack their opponent in real time.
Godspeed launches with 3 types of combat: Online Battles, Bounty Hunting and Facebook friend matches. An online battle pairs two players (with ships in the same class) against each other in combat. Players improve their rating by winning online battles with the highest rated players displayed on the daily leaderboard. A Bounty Hunt is a solo match offline during which players compete against a computer. In addition to these two battle modes, players can challenge their friends through Facebook in unranked combat. Each battle earns players Commander Credits (used to upgrade ships) and experience points (used to climb the ranks).
Players can select Crew to take into battle and reinforce the ships they have built. Crew abilities range from adding blocks to the match board to the ability to reboot your opponent's board in the middle of combat. Selecting crew that compliment a specific ship build will prove to be a rewarding strategy. For example, a Crew member that multiplies the effect of every Shield match will be useful on a ship with a lot of shield components.
Further custom features include an avatar creation system with over a trillion combinations and the ability to write custom taglines to taunt your opponents during combat.
The Nah-Meen team is excited to take its game development to the next level with a real time, cross platform, multiplayer game. "We're a small studio, it's a big step for us. Our previous release, Trial by Survival, had multiplayer elements but there was no Player vs. Player. Everyone asks for more Player vs. Player, so we built the entire game around it," says Bradley Wollman, the artist for Nah-Meen Studios.

Cupertino, California - Heroes and Fantasies of San Antonio, a well-known and well respected, comic book, game, toy and collectibles' retailer, was looking for a mobile app developer they could trust to build mobile apps for their firm. Since 1987, Heroes and Fantasies has provided their unique and fun products to thousands and thousands of comic book and collectible enthusiasts.
"We know that practically all of our customers carry mobile devices and that we wanted to stay connected with them. We then decided that getting mobile apps would be one of the best ways we could accomplish this." says Adam Conley, owner of Heroes and Fantasies.
After searching for a mobile partner, Streamlined Ingenuity, LLC was referred to Adam by another vendor he used for other technology, Joe Chandler of Internet Marketing Images.
After deciding to allow Streamlined Ingenuity to develop the mobile app for them, Heroes and Fantasies decided to launch the app in both the Android and Apple markets for maximum benefit. One key feature of the new app is the ability for a user to pre-order new items before they come out and have them waiting for them when they come by the store versus rushing or waiting in long lines for new releases. Also, with the new app, users can receive push notifications of in-store events, specials and major events like Alamo City Comicon!
Several downloads of the app have proven that Heroes and Fantasies decision was a good one. Adding a mobile app to their marketing strategy has created even more loyal and happy customers since they now have the convenience of a mobile app to purchase items they want, and get updated automatically on information they can use right at their fingertips.

The BeeKeeper, funding on Kickstarter, provides a solution to the new MacBook's USB issue. BeeKeeper combines the USB adapters and the charge cable, therefore a hassle-free standard USB is ready at all times. The standard BeeKeeper system comes with a USB-C to USB adapter and a two-meter USB-C charger, however a three-meter and five-meter charge cable is available to backers as well. BeeKeeper's Kickstarter campaign has 13 days left and a funding goal of $33,000.
Nashville, Tennessee - The BeeKeeper, funding on Kickstarter, provides a solution to the new MacBook's USB issue. BeeKeeper combines the USB adapters and the charge cable, therefore a hassle-free standard USB is ready at all times.
The BeeKeeper cable has a USB-C connector on one end and a standard USB male connector on the other end. A USB to USB-C adapter could be plugged into the USB male end and turned into a fully functional charging cable for the new Macbook. When users need a USB port, they simply unplug the USB-C adapter from the cable and the USB port on the adapter becomes available.

A USB to USB-C adapter could be plugged into the USB male end and turned into a fully functional charging cable for the new Macbook. When users need a USB port, they simply unplug the USB-C adapter from the cable and the USB port on the adapter becomes available.
The BeeKeeper System is made with convenience in mind. The USB-C adapter can stay in the MacBook for daily usage, keeping a standard USB port available at all times or it can attach to the BeeKeeper charge cord for convenience while traveling.
BeeKeeper is equipped with the most advanced power delivery system in the world. It may be small but it is one of few third-party accessories that handles 29W power delivery that is required by the new MacBook and is capable of running full speed under USB 3.1.

They're making the source code for their iOS games, over 200 in total, available to backers. If the campaign reaches its $250K goal by the May 29th deadline the game source code, which cost over $1,000,000 and took several years to develop, will be distributed to campaign backers who have pledged as little as $49.
St. Petersburg, Florida - Evertap, a mobile gaming company, has launched a Kickstarter campaign that promises to "kick start" App Store success for the next generation of mobile app and game publishers. They're making the source code for their iOS games, over 200 in total, available to backers. If the campaign reaches its $250K goal by the May 29th deadline the game source code, which cost over a million dollars and took several years to develop, will be distributed to campaign backers who have pledged as little as $49.
Evertap is a small, Florida-based company comprised of only three employees and a remote development team. Their impressive library of games for iPhone and iPad have been installed by 20 million users and played over half a billion times. They've also generated over a million dollars in advertising revenue. Starting now, and running through May 29th, Kickstarter backers will have the opportunity to get access to everything evertap has developed - as long as the campaign goal is reached over the one-month campaign period.
The majority of the 200+ games that the company has active on the App Store have never been actively promoted. Ryan Wade, the founder and CEO of evertap, never intended for it to be a "big" company. As it turns out, that's exactly what would be required to actively promote 200 iOS games. Instead of expanding in size, evertap has decided to change their company focus so the potential of the games they have created does not go to waste.
Instead of selling the rights to their games to a larger gaming company that would likely use them solely for advertising their existing games, evertap wants to help others get their start in the mobile gaming business by providing them with the individual "building blocks" required to create great games and get them published to the App Store.
When he came up with the idea for his first app almost 7 years ago, Mr. Wade had no experience at all in app development. He firmly believes there is more opportunity now than there ever has been for small publishing companies and individual developers to participate in what is essentially a digital gold rush.
Evertap's 200+ games include classics such as Mahjong and Chess, as well as creative new game ideas such as "Stickly Jump" and "Temple Escape". Here is a short list of some of the games being made available to the Kickstarter campaign backers.
