Cownado! 1.0 for iOS Devices Now Available In The App Store - Published on 07/14/15
Cincinnati based Lynest Company has released Cownado! 1.0, available today for iOS devices. Cownado! features simplistic tap and touch game mechanics that anyone can enjoy, but only few will be able to master. The goal is to keep a spinning cow inside a tornado. By tapping the screen once a wood platform will begin to rotate around the play area. If the player taps the screen a second time, a cow will drop. The goal is to bounce this cow off of the rotating platform inside the tornado.
Cincinnati, Ohio - The Lynest Company has announced the release of Cownado! 1.0, available today for iOS devices. Cownado! features simplistic tap and touch game mechanics that anyone can enjoy but only few will be able to master. The goal is to keep a spinning cow inside a tornado. By tapping the screen once a wood platform will begin to rotate around the play area (an aerial view down the center of a tornado). If the player taps the screen a second time, a cow will drop. The goal is to bounce this cow off of the rotating platform inside the tornado. This is achieved by tapping the screen to change the direction in which the platform rotates. Each time the cow is successfully bounced off the wood platform the player is rewarded a point.
Included in the gameplay is a power-up. By doing a shake gesture on the device, "Bertha" is triggered. Bertha is a larger cow that is easier to bounce between the wood platforms. Bertha's can be earned, unlocked, and even purchased through in-app purchases. The game features inviting artwork, straight forward menu navigation, six unique playable characters at launch, one "Bertha" power up, twenty-seven in-game awards, twenty-eight Game Center achievements, a handful of "punny" classes to reach, online leaderboards, Facebook integration to share scores, and in-app purchases.
Cownado! Is a fun enjoyable experience to kill time for casual gamers and a challenging rewarding experience for the hardcore players looking to achieve gold on all achievements. The game was created by Kenny Lykins and Matt Ernest, with artwork by Emily Turner.

Toronto, Canada - Wanna get plastered with your friends? Well now there's an app for that. Introducing "DAG: Drinking Arcade Game" by indie game developer Denny Kurien. Combining the game play of a Super-Mario style platform game with the roll-the-dice drinking challenges .. this game can get you very drunk, very fast! Great for parties and bar-scenes, as long as you don't spill any drinks on your device.
To play this game, you will need an ample supply of vodka, whiskey, wine, beer, champagne, water (very important), and a straw. Players take turn controlling Dag (a smooth-talking, walking stein of beer) across the bar counter of a pub while avoiding pitfalls, bombs, and buzz killers (party-poopers who disapprove of you drinking alcohol). Complete the level succesfully, your whole team moves on to the next stage with the next player in your group lined up to play. Fail the level, and either you or your entire team will have to perform a drinking challenge - like taking a shot of vodka, or all the girls in your group having 1 round of champagne.
The game was developed by Canadian indie-game developer Denny Kurien over the past 6 months in Toronto. Just like all his other apps, he came up with the original concept, and did all the graphics, animation, programming, and voice-over work for it go get it ready for the app store. His reason for making it was that he simply wanted a unique way of entertaining his friends for Canada Day (July 1st).
