Sydney based Shape of Sound Limited today introduces Shade's Exile: In The Beginning 1.0, its brand new platform game developed for iPhone and iPad devices. Shade's Exile is like Sonic on steroids: Shade can bounce around like a pinball and do stunts, or can run about and shoot enemies out the way. There is a rich storyline which is unusually deep for a platform game, and a post-dubstep soundtrack that brings a slightly darker edge to a very retro themed game.
Sydney, Australia - Shape of Sound Limited today is proud to announce the release of Shade's Exile: In The Beginning 1.0, its brand new platform game developed for iPhone and iPad devices. Meet Shade. He's half man, half pinball. Shade begins this journey in a seemingly green and lush paradise; but he is hopelessly bored and decides to cross over the neighbours fence in search of excitement. Before you know it he is bouncing around levels like a pinball, avoiding razor sharp bats and vicious magpies. The game is influenced by Sonic the Hedgehog (TM) and retro Amiga games; whilst also going deeper and offering a chilled and sometimes darker post dubstep soundtrack that accompanies a surprisingly deep plot.
Shade isn't limited at bouncing around, he can shoot sparks, water bombs and fire bursts to knock enemies away from his path. Each weapon can be fired whilst standing; but when rolling the weapon triggers stunts that let Shade bounce higher, further and even slow time. Shade also has access to an array of crystals that can be used to powerup. A red crystal powers up weapons and strength so that shade fires multiple shots at once and can watch enemies bounce off into the distance. A blue crystal powers up speed and stamina, it can be a little uncontrollable at first until you enter stunt mode and then all stunts slow time so that you find yourself becoming significantly more able to get around. A green powerup regenerates health; allowing you to get past those highly dangerous snails and man eating zombies more easily.
Shade isn't your ordinary character though; Shade is altogether far more human than he looks, he thinks, he wants to belong, he aspires to something better. Shade's adventures are not just about getting past enemies; but include all together deeper and darker elements such as a philosophical exploration of social acceptance; belief in God, choice, forgiveness, self loathing and perception.

The clever document recovery tool lets users store digital copies of their driver's license, registration, and insurance card in the event that they are requested by the police, but the original documents aren't available. Using this feature is optional, and images can be deleted/replaced in a matter of seconds.
