RationalPlan started as an easy to use and straightforward project management software but it evolved into an embedded and powerful system that is now available even as a project management cloud service both for individuals and for companies that need a distributed solution with concurrent access from multiple users.

Adding comments on tasks while managing work within the Cloud is a feature aiming to increase collaboration among users. Everyone that is interested on a certain task - like the project manager, a responsible or the assigned resources - will get notifications by email whenever a comment is added on that task.
The developers from Stand By Soft would like to thank to all that have contributed to translating RationalPlan into Polish with special thanks to Experteam a company working within the plastic parts production implementation domain.
While working with the Server or Cloud version, the assignments can be sent by email in .ics iCalendar format by using the unique ID of tasks. This way there will be no longer created duplicated events within the calendar of users but rather the events will be updated according to the changes (task name, duration, start or end date, notes etc.).
Current version added support for Vietnamese character encoding when exporting to MS Project .xml file and .xls file formats. Task notes will be exported correctly and without loss of information. The support for opening MS Project .mpp files was also improved.
