Vivaldi's Break Mode: Pause the Internet
Vivaldi's built-in tools like Tab Tiling, Notes, visual History, full-page screen Capture and more help users to stay ahead. Users can now take a break and put the Internet on pause to focus their attention elsewhere. Also, Break Mode allows users to hide browsing activity or sensitive information on the screen at once if interrupted by a colleague or a family member. Easily triggered with a pause button, Break Mode mutes and stops HTML5 audio and videos, hides all tabs, panels and other content leaving the screen clean.

These new updates to Avalanche improve the export of previews, introduced recently. Previews are additional images of edited versions added to your output catalogs. They have the same metadata (IPTC/EXIF) as the versions they represent and are stored separately from the original files for easy identification. They are a way to migrate a high-fidelity version of complex edits made to an image in the form of a JPG file. Extensive customization options are available to control the naming, quality and circumstances under which previews are added to the output catalog.
The changes introduced include:
* The ability to export previews in the Files and Folders export.
* The fix of several conditions when the number of reported processed masters/versions were wrong.
* Better management of corrupted input Aperture catalogs. New entries in the conversion log file clearly * Indicate the number of corrupted masters.

* When the projects contained special characters.

Henderson, Nevada - Excel Software announced the ExcelRT Cloud service to host developer Apps in the Cloud. Each developer gets a private application server to define apps and user accounts. ExcelRT Cloud Apps can run in a Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera or IE browser from virtually any computer, tablet or phone.
An App is developed and tested with ExcelRT Builder on a Mac or Windows computer using spreadsheet authoring and scripting command skills. When running an App in the browser, the user experience is similiar to a desktop application. Few developer changes are needed in an ExcelRT file to create a cloud application since formulas, formatting, events and most script commands are cross platform.
An App user can create and manage workbook files, open and switch between workbook sheets, present dialogs or use common button, popup menu, radio button, checkbox or other controls. The user can read and write files in their cloud account, an Internet website or upload and download files to their local computer or mobile device.
ExcelRT Cloud supports common spreadsheet features with workbooks up to 15 sheets and 999 rows or columns per sheet. Familiar features include cell data and style formats, entry validation rules, cell borders, background color, pattern and icons, conditional formatting, tables, sheet filters, images, hyperlinks and hundreds of formula functions. Both Microsoft Excel style form controls and in-cell controls are supported. Show or hide sheets, columns, rows, scrollbars or gridlines during design or with runtime script commands.
ExcelRT Cloud has scripting commands for file I/O, interactive user controls, dialogs and progress indicators. The scripting engine has commands to generate reports, present custom dialogs, manipulate variables, strings and cell data, add conditional logic, loops, math and subroutines, read and write Internet data or manipulate images. ExcelRT supports multiple CSV memory structures with commands to load, save, view, search, sort and manage CSV data to and from a file, Internet source or cells in a workbook.
ExcelRT Cloud supports a Plugins folder that may contain images, videos, sound, CSV, HTML, text or other files types used in a workbook or shared betweens Apps running in the same user account.
A developer can customize the user experience of their Apps starting from the login screen. After logging into an App, a customized file manager screen allows the user to create and manage workbooks, enter common settings data shared across workbooks, provide feedback to the developer or access the developer website. With a linked Cloud Sharing account, the user can share files with other user accounts or desktop applications.
A developer can setup multiple Apps and User accounts each assigned to one or more Apps from an online Vendor account. A batch of user accounts can be created with one command or imported from a CSV file. User accounts can be created or assigned to new Apps using an automated purchase process implemented by the online Safe Activation service. A customer can purchase an online subscription for an App, receive log in credentials, pay with a periodic credit card charge and later cancel the App subscription without developer involvement.
ExcelRT includes a User Guide with tutorials, sample projects and dozens of demonstration videos that cover all aspects of ExcelRT Builder, user licensing and deployment or developer created Apps. A developer can offer Cloud Sharing accounts to customers as a feature included with their product or as a value added service they sell.
Henderson, Nevada - Excel Software announced the Cloud Sharing service for developer created Apps. Cloud Sharing is an online service used to store and share files between users of an Excel, Access or ExcelRT based application. A developer can offer Cloud Sharing accounts to customers as a feature included with their product or as a value added service they sell.
A Cloud Sharing account is private space in the cloud where an App user or team of users can store and share files between desktop, mobile and browser based applications. Each Cloud Sharing account is assigned a CloudID, Read and Write password. A user can allow others to upload or delete files in their account or just give out the Read password to view and download files.
QuickLicense can build a licensed App containing a built-in file manager from an Excel, Access or ExcelRT workbook file. The Cloud button in the file manager window is a convenient way to access one or more Cloud Sharing accounts. It presents a dialog listing files associated with that App and buttons to access those files. Click the Setup button to link an App to a Cloud Sharing account in seconds. Easily upload or download workbook files from the App with a button click.
Developers can use programming or script commands within an application to easily upload or download CSV, PDF, image, text, video or other file types stored in a Cloud Sharing account. Collect usage statistics from App users, periodically update a CSV file of changing data or present sample files to clients.
Cloud Sharing accounts are typically assigned and distributed to users by the App developer using an online Vendor account or through an automated purchase process driven by the Safe Activation service. The power of Cloud Sharing is the built in simplicity.
A free Cloud Sharing app can be downloaded to any Mac or Windows computer or freely distributed by developers. Upload, download, delete or view files in any linked Cloud Sharing account. Enter credentials for multiple Cloud Sharing accounts to toggle between them.

A developer can offer Cloud Sharing accounts to customers as a feature included with their product or as a value added service they sell.
Henderson, Nevada - Excel Software announced the Cloud Sharing service for developer created Apps. Cloud Sharing is an online service used to store and share files between users of an Excel, Access or ExcelRT based application. A developer can offer Cloud Sharing accounts to customers as a feature included with their product or as a value added service they sell.
A Cloud Sharing account is private space in the cloud where an App user or team of users can store and share files between desktop, mobile and browser based applications. Each Cloud Sharing account is assigned a CloudID, Read and Write password. A user can allow others to upload or delete files in their account or just give out the Read password to view and download files.
QuickLicense can build a licensed App containing a built-in file manager from an Excel, Access or ExcelRT workbook file. The Cloud button in the file manager window is a convenient way to access one or more Cloud Sharing accounts. It presents a dialog listing files associated with that App and buttons to access those files. Click the Setup button to link an App to a Cloud Sharing account in seconds. Easily upload or download workbook files from the App with a button click.
Developers can use programming or script commands within an application to easily upload or download CSV, PDF, image, text, video or other file types stored in a Cloud Sharing account. Collect usage statistics from App users, periodically update a CSV file of changing data or present sample files to clients.
Cloud Sharing accounts are typically assigned and distributed to users by the App developer using an online Vendor account or through an automated purchase process driven by the Safe Activation service. The power of Cloud Sharing is the built in simplicity.
A free Cloud Sharing app can be downloaded to any Mac or Windows computer or freely distributed by developers. Upload, download, delete or view files in any linked Cloud Sharing account. Enter credentials for multiple Cloud Sharing accounts to toggle between them.
Cloud Sharing is an online service used by an App developer to provide private cloud storage and file sharing within their Apps. The cost starting at $5/month for a batch of user accounts is based on the number of user accounts and maximum number of files and file size supported by each account.

Shaderific is an educational app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch that helps computer science students and experienced developers to get started with OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenGL ES 3.0 shader development. The app makes it possible to write, compile and test shader programs directly on any iOS device without ever touching a laptop or desktop computer. Version 5.1 adds full support for iOS 14 and external pointing devices on iPad.
Hamburg, Germany - Gryphos GmbH has released Shaderific version 5.1, a minor update of its OpenGL ES shader development application for iOS. Shaderific provides the full range of shader development with the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL) on tablet computers and mobile devices. Vertex and fragment shader code can be created, edited and compiled on the device and all changes are visible instantly. There is no need to use a personal computer (laptop or desktop) in the shader development process anymore. The update adds support for iOS 14 and contains bug fixes and minor improvements.
Shaderific streamlines the process of prototyping, testing and debugging shaders immensely by cutting the cord to the personal computer. Whereas traditional shader development requires compilation of the whole graphics application for every change to a shader file, all this is unnecessary now. Since the shaders are edited and compiled right on the iPad, iPhone or iPod no file transfer is needed with a personal computer and a lot of time can be saved. A further strength of Shaderific lies in the possibility to change parameters (uniforms) of the shaders via the settings menu without interrupting the rendering loop. All changes can be examined in real-time and fine-tuning the rendering result is fast and easy.

Indie developer, Mike Clay announces the pre-release of PlayTally, a new app that allows users to dive deeper into their Apple Music statistics and create customized Replay-style playlists of their top songs. PlayTally creates its own time-stamped playback records using the new background tasks API introduced in iOS 13. Users can view their listening history, focus on specific dates, see recent activity for songs or artists, and create playlists. It is expected to be released October 15, 2020.
Toronto, Ontario - Independent developer, Mike Clay announced today the pre-release of PlayTally, a new app that allows users to dive deeper into their Apple Music statistics and create customized Replay-style playlists of their top songs. It is his second Apple Music expansion pack, following popular smart playlist generator Miximum.
Unlike competitive apps that simply display library information, PlayTally creates its own time-stamped playback records (similar to a last.fm scrobble) using the new background tasks API introduced in iOS 13. Users can view their listening history, focus on specific dates, see recent activity for songs or artists, and create playlists.
As more playback data is collected, PlayTally analyzes it to create dynamic playlists of the users top songs, much like Apple's Replay playlist. Unlike Replay however, which consists of the users top songs year-to-date, PlayTally's PlayBack lists can be calculated for any date range, allowing users to see their top songs of the summer, past week or all time. PlayBack lists are also calculated dynamically, so there is no waiting for weekly updates from Apple.
Developer Mike Clay says an early beta tester summed it up best. "They asked me, 'so is this basically like an integrated last.fm for my Apple Music?' And that's exactly what it's like. I wanted to provide that sort of tracking without having to have an account and share that data with a company. With PlayTally, that data never leaves the users device and/or personal iCloud storage."
The app also adds a bit of fun with listening awards heavily inspired by Apple Watch fitness challenges. As users continue to use Apple Music they unlock badges for number of songs and time listened, adding and loving songs in their library, or by listening on specific dates. There's also a daily listening "personal best" to try to beat.

Version 4.9.11 of ChronoSync also marks the release of initial support for macOS 11, Big Sur. Although Bootable Backups of Big Sur are currently not supported, all other ChronoSync operations work well under the new Beta macOS 11. Casselberry, Florida - Econ Technologies, Inc. updates ChronoSync to version 4.9.11 to simplify the creation of Bootable Backups in macOS 10.15.6. Previous work-arounds created for the Apple-induced macOS 10.15.5 problems have been removed to streamline the creation of new Bootable Backups. ChronoSync 4.9.11 also marks the release of initial support for macOS 11, Big Sur. Although Bootable Backups of Big Sur are currently not supported, all other ChronoSync operations work well under the new Beta macOS 11. This is a free update for all existing ChronoSync users.

ChronoSync 4.9.11 also marks the release of initial support for macOS 11, Big Sur. Although Bootable Backups of Big Sur are currently not supported, all other ChronoSync operations work well under the new Beta macOS 11. This is a free update for all existing ChronoSync users.
