RemObjects Software has announced Elements 8.1, the next version of its cross-platform Elements compiler and development environment. But even for single-platform developers, Elements is a compelling choice, with its powerful compiler and rich and productive development environment and toolchain.
Languages:
With Elements, developers can choose between (or combine) three separate programming languages: RemObjects's own **Oxygene** language, **C#** and - new in version 8.1 - Apple's **Swift** language. Each language is supported for all target platforms and has advanced IDE support for a first-class development experience.
Platforms:
Elements lets developers target three distinct platforms: **.NET** (including support for ASP.NET, Windows apps, Windows Phone, WinRT and cross-platform servers), **Java** (including, of course, Android) and **Cocoa** for native iOS and Mac development.
Elements supports each of these platforms directly and natively, without bloated abstraction layers that would hide the underlying frameworks. On each platform, developers have full and unfettered access to the native APIs and the wide range of open source and third party libraries available.

Elements supports developers working on both Windows and Mac -
* On Windows, developers can use the **Visual Studio** IDE (included free of charge), which has been extended with deep integration for all three languages *and* a full development and debugging stack for both Java and Cocoa.
* On Mac, developers can leverage RemObjects' own brand-new **Fire** development environment which has been developed from the ground up especially for the Mac and for the Elements languages - and is new in version 8.1.

Elements 8.1 is available now, with a limited-time introductory price for new users of $799 (USD) per user for the full Elements package, and $7999 for a company-wide license. Snow Crystals is a beautifully designed game which combines a classic memory style game of matching identical snow crystals with the difficulty of doing this before the snow crystals drop off the screen. As the player progresses through 72 handcrafted levels, the difficulty increases as the snow crystals start to spin, collide with obstacles or are blown around by chaotic winds.
Freiburg, Germany - Ars Subtilior has announced the release and immediate availability of Snow Crystals 1.0.0, their new game title for iOS devices. Snow Crystals is a beautifully designed game which combines a classic memory style game of matching identical snow crystals with the difficulty of doing this before the snow crystals drop off the screen. This game adds the need for speed to a memory game that will keep the player hooked for hours.
As the player progresses through 72 handcrafted levels, the difficulty increases as the snow crystals start to spin, collide with obstacles or are blown around by chaotic winds. The player can choose to use a slow motion mode to help through the more difficult levels. Once the initial five slo-mos are used up, the player will have to catch one of the snow balls which might appear after a level is won. The player has to tap on two or more identical snow crystals before they fall of the screen. There are only two rules:
* 250 Points are required to win a level
* Those 250 points have to be reached in 60 seconds
Special attention has been paid to the design of the app: the snow crystals have been adapted from photos of real snow crystals and the backgrounds and lightning of the different levels have been created to provide the player with a changing atmosphere for each level. The music used in the app has been specifically composed for it to add a calming element to the game play as the player continues into the higher, more difficult levels. Snow Crystals also features a complete iOS Game Center support so that players can track their progress via their high score and twelve achievements and can challenge their friends.

The iSight camera features 1.5-micron pixels and /2.2 aperture which allow for better picture quality than the front Facetime camera. The problem with using the back camera for selfies is that it is very hard to catch your face in focus.
SelfieX solves the problem of making selfie shots with back camera. The multilingual voiced helper will guide users in English, Russian, French, German, Italian or Spanish to aim the phone correctly. When the app detects a face on the screen, it takes a picture automatically. Users can make quick edits of brightness, color, saturation and crop and share the picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

San Francisco, California - Moments of inspiration and motivation are fleeting. Paper and pen, which are quite handy, lack the spontaneity matched by these moments. "A wonderful idea, and I loved listening to what I told myself yesterday," said Melody O, who got a chance to record some inpsiring messages on Tomorrow.

Long Beach, New York - Back in Late January 2015, New York based Chunky Apps and TimeDriven Games teamed up to launch the first "Deflate-Gate" game through the iOS and Google Play App stores in response to the accusations that the New England Patriots were involved in deflating footballs during the AFC championship game. Three months later, the release of the Wells Report fingers select New England Patriots personnel as "more likely than not" aware of and involved in the infractions. The ruling comes as a reminder that the NFL is a big business with many layers. With the release of the Deflate-Gate game, fans can participate in the simulated football deflating activities from an entertainment perspective, but avoid the complex and pending emotional fallout sure to come from the findings of Wells' report.

At Chunky Apps we transform contentious and sometimes challenging situations into a fun experience where everyone can walk away with a smile and good energy. Deflate-Gate is a "speed-of-completion" roleplay game in the Free-to-Play format for iOS and Android devices. Players become an equipment employee responsible for deflating 12 footballs down to 10.5 PSI as fast as one can before the big game without being caught by a constantly peering official. The exhilarating experience of being on the field and in-the game is what sets Deflate-Gate apart from other games. In the animated, cartoon style that Chunky Apps and TimeDriven Games are known for, a football, a visible air pressure-gauge and an ever inquisitive referee are on screen and within the same proximity. Simply stated, "something has to be done". Users must avoid the referee while using a seamless press-and-lift thumbplay motion to decrease the ball air pressure as quickly as possible.

Indie developer, Ngo Lien today announces Glidy Bird 1.1, an update to his popular skill game for iOS devices. While playing Glidy Bird, you become just a penguin on a glacier. Using simple touch gestures, you control the movements of the penguin as he glides along and attempts to avoid the floating ice blocks. Keep the penguin alive as long as possible to accumulate more points. Version 1.1 adds Game Center support, allowing gamers to compete against each other in obtaining the high score.
