UK based 21 year-old app developers, Joe Allen and Matt Cowlin, have earned over $100,000 since they published their first apps in 2011, and want to help other developer achieve the same. Joe and Matt's first book "$100,000 on the AppStore" follows their success story from struggling-to-attract users, to being featured on the AppStore, and everything in between. The book is available to buy online on Friday August 1st 2014.
London, United Kingdom - 21 year-old app developers, Joe Allen and Matt Cowlin, have earned over $100,000 since they published their first apps in 2011, and want to help other developers achieve the same. Joe and Matt's first book "$100,000 on the AppStore" follows their success story from struggling to attract users, to being featured on the AppStore, and everything in between. The book is available to buy online on Friday August 1st 2014.
Joe Allen, co-author asked "How can an 'indie' developer expect to perform well without being a well-known publisher, or having a big marketing budget?", a question he told us that "most 'indie' app developers are asking themselves".
Collectively Joe and Matt have published over 90 apps to the iOS AppStore. Matt told us about their early experiences, "Our apps were consistently under-performing, and most of them died down to one or two sales a month, nothing," and adding "It's a familiar story for lots of new app developers worldwide."
In an effort to help other young and hopeful app developers, Joe and Matt have written the entire story of their AppStore success. "We've both made plenty of mistakes, but in doing so we've also found what works well," Joe told us. Finally, Matt told us what he hopes the book can do for its readers; "We think most app developers can learn something from our experiences."
The book will be available to buy online from their website in both digital and hardback formats, on Friday August 1st 2014 at 10:00 PDT / 13:00 EDT / 18:00 BST from just $29, including a 24-hour 20% launch discount for everyone. Matt Cowlin is currently working in Marketing at a popular children's app publisher, Matt has also been publishing apps since his college years in 2011. Matt now earns from 91 iPhone and iPad apps, and is on track to generate over $50,000 in revenue for 2014.

All the photos and fonts have been carefully selected.
Castellon, Spain - Mar Ballesteros Studio has announced the release of Animal Face and Tail 1.0 for iOS, the third photo app from the Spanish artist Mar Ballesteros. Show off your inner animal with the most complete animal face app. With an already popular theme, Animal Face And Tail goes the next step by offering features such as a handy text function, more than 200 stickers (100 of them free) including not only faces, but also tails, wings, snail shells and even spider legs, all with surprisingly beautiful frames (20 of them free).
Featuring an intuitive user interface, the user is prompted to choose a photo by taking it with the device's camera or simply selecting one from the camera roll. In the next screen, the user can add one or several stickers with the "plus" button. Animal faces are automatically placed over photo's face. Easily modify the sticker with a series of editing tools including, flip horizontal and vertical, adjust and erase the desired parts. Next add frames to the composition, as well as beautiful filters or cool captions. User can share their creation via Instagram, Facebook of Twitter.
All the photos and fonts have been carefully selected. Frames have been designed by the artist Maria Jose Ballesteros. "Developing this app has been one of the most exhausting and rewarding things in my life, I can't wait to see what people can create with it," said Mar Ballesteros.
