CPUG Network Announces Ninth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet - Published on 08/01/16
The CPUG Network have announced the Ninth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place Sunday, September 11, 2016 once again at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam, NL. The Amsterdam SuperMeet promises to be the single largest gathering of Final Cut Pro, Adobe, Avid and Resolve editors, gurus and digital filmmakers during the IBC 2016 Show. Earlybird tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the SuperMeet web site.
Los Angeles CA / Boston MA - The Creative Pro User Group Network (CPUG Network) today have announced the Ninth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place on Sunday, Sept 11, 2016 at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam, NL. during during the IBC 2016 Show. Doors open at 4:30PM (16:30) with the "SuperMeet Digital Showcase" featuring over 20 software and hardware developers. SuperMeet Presentations will begin at 7:00PM (19:00) and continue until 11:00PM (23:00). Tickets are on sale online for the Earlybird price of 10.00 Euros each plus ticket fee, and 7.00 Euros for Students and Teachers with valid ID.
The full agenda will not be announced until sometime in August, however there will be USER driven presentations by Blackmagic Design, Adobe, HP/NVIDIA LumaForge and more. Rounding out the evening will be the always wild and fun "World Famous Raffle," featuring thousands of Euros worth of valuable filmmaker-related prizes, which will be handed out to dozens of lucky winners.
Doors will open at 16:30 with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase featuring over 20 software and hardware developers including Adobe, Blackmagic Design, HP/NVIDIA, Audio Network, Boris, Imagineer Systems, Future Store, Fayteq, Lumberjack Systems, Intelligent Assistance, Keyflow Pro, LumaForge, OWC, B&H, Symply and many others to come. Here, attendees can enjoy a few cocktails, mingle and party with industry peers, network one on one with leading manufacturers and learn about the latest trends in collaborative workflows.
Tickets are on sale for the "Earlybird" price of only 10.00 Euros each plus ticket fee, and 7.00 Euros for Students and Teachers with valid ID. Earlybird tickets expire on 16, August. It will be 20,00 Euros each at the door. Food (snacks) and drinks will be available throughout the evening.

Dine app CEO, Keisuke Kamijo, stated the following in response to the recent phenomenon which inspired the new feature, "Generally speaking, dating user profiles can only tell you so much about a person. The two main driving forces that will lead users to engage with a potential match is physical attraction and similar interests. Many of our users are currently playing Pokemon Go so we felt like giving our users a new and fun way to make character connections with potential matches. Plus, doesn't going on a Poke Date sound fun? Why go alone when you can go together"?
This update came along with the official launch of Dine's new UI for the United States and Canada. This underdog dating app prides itself as the app that leads to actual dates through effectively increasing the embarrassingly low date rate (number of matches that result in actual dates) that weighs an enormous burden on users engaging on other dating apps. "Mainly speaking, all of the trending dating apps currently out there have an extremely low date rate. People match and then spend hours if not days conversing about hobbies, work, etc. People who matched through Dine usually open up their initial conversation with "when can you meet?" According to user records from tests we made on our UI in Canada, Dine fixes this issue with more than 50 percent of users who connected with their matches on the app actually met in person within two weeks. With the new UI change were able to increase the number of actual dates made by a threefold now that users can send each other Dine requests
more comfortably," said Keisuke Kamijo.
Dine made its official launch in March 2016 and was featured by Apple on the app store under "Best New Apps" and is available on the United States and Canadian app store as a free download.
