TenantCloud Helps Protect Tenants from Fraudulent Rental Listings - Published on 11/14/16

TenantCloud, the service that provides free landlord accounting and rental management tools, announced a new feature allowing landlords to verify their listings in an effort to protect tenants from fraudulent predatory thieves. TenantCloud offers portals for landlords and tenants, where they can receive/pay rent, receive/send applications, communicate, assign work orders and much more including free listings on over 30 major rental listing sites.

Austin, Texas - TenantCloud, a leading provider of cloud-based rental accounting announces Trusted Verifications, a new feature for landlords to verify their rental listing as genuine and available. As paying rent becomes ever easier to do online cyber thieves are ever increasing how they steal. Thieves are coping listings and reposting them as their own, on some of the largest and most well known rental search sites, and demanding deposits from unsuspecting tenants. By the time the tenant knows what has happened the thieves have made off with as much as first month's rent, deposit and an application fee.

TenantCloud offers portals for landlords and tenants, where they can receive/pay rent, receive/send applications, communicate, assign work orders and much more including free listings on over 30 major rental listing sites. With Trusted Verifications prospective tenants can now look for the shield on the property manager's logo and proceed to filling out an application with confidence. This provides a way for Landlords to show they are real and their properties are genuine.

TenantCloud has also added increased security. TenantCloud is now available on iOS and Android devices, laptops, tablets and includes system security and encryption with 128-bit through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means data is backed up every 20 minutes and available only to authorized users. All rental information is stored in a cloud account, so users can access it from anywhere and anytime.

"It is a great opportunity to be able to make finding a new home easier and safer." Having this happen to one unsuspecting tenant is concerning, but it has been widespread. Tenants will soon be able to limit their search results to verified landlords only. It's great to have that option and be sure you can trust a landlord you've never met." says co-founder of TenantCloud Joe Edgar.

Giant Dragon Implanted With Gcell iBeacon

Giant Dragon Implanted With Gcell iBeacon - Published on 11/14/16

GCell, a world leader in the manufacturer of Solar iBeacon hardware, has implanted its iBeacon technology into a gigantic roaring Dragon. The Dragon measuring four metres in length, two metres wide, with black and red scales, huge wings, flaring nostrils that fire smoke, an outreached claw ready to capture passers-by, is implanted with iBeacon technology developed by Newport-based GCell. Visitors can access bonus Dragon content by opening the Cadw app in-front of the beast's enormous snout.

Cardiff, United Kingdom - GCell, a world leader in the manufacturer of Solar iBeacon hardware, has implanted its iBeacon technology into a gigantic roaring Dragon. Welsh Government's historic environment service Cadw (a Welsh word meaning 'to keep' or 'to protect') has deployed iBeacon technology throughout 10 Welsh castles and its fiery Dragon. The solar powered iBeacon hardware devices were sympathetically installed by GCell at the heritage sites.

The Dragon measuring four metres in length, two metres wide, with black and red scales, huge wings, flaring nostrils that fire smoke, an outreached claw ready to capture passers-by, is implanted with iBeacon technology developed by Newport-based GCell.

Visitors meeting the beast can access bonus Dragon content by opening the Cadw app in-front of the beast's enormous snout, triggered by GCell's iBeacon technology. Throughout 2016 the mythical beast has been making flying appearances at castles all over Wales including Flint Castle, Caerphilly Castle and Chepstow Castle. As users walk around the castles, new content is revealed in the proximity-aware app, developed by Locly, when an iBeacon is nearby. Users can then discover interesting historical information for that particular location - it could be an audio file, a video or interactive image.

Barry Jenkins commented "We are delighted to be working with Cadw and Locly to deliver a pan-Wales collaboration who can boast a truly world-class set of location-aware marketing technologies. GCell can demonstrate unparalleled expertise in the manufacture of solar powered iBeacon hardware devices, plus sympathetic installation expertise within heritage sites. It's a fairly unique delivery of proximity technology in a sustainable manner."

Cadw Heritage Interpretation Manager Erin Lloyd Jones explains more about the iBeacon triggered content; "We used both existing and new digital assets to create the trails, which provide fascinating insights into all aspects of castle life, including atmospheric audio narrations given by imaginary castle workers (blacksmith, musician, carpenter) and image interpretations of what the castles may have looked like in their prime. Our overall aim was to enhance the physical with the digital to deliver engaging experiences for visitors of all ages, encouraging them to learn and explore as they walk around. The Dragon is a truly iconic addition to our sites."

The Cadw app is now available to download on the iOS App Store and Google Play and more digital trails will be added during 2017.

A new article has been published at prMac.

Station 1.2 - Multilevel Dock for macOS - Published on 11/14/16

True North Software today introduces Station 1.2, their multilevel (hierarchical) launcher for macOS. Station promotes a more natural organization of applications and documents into folders. With nested folders, you can arrange items in Station in a way that fits your workflow with an uncluttered look and feel. Scalability is greatly increased through logical groupings thus increasing the sheer number of items that can be added to Station without having to shrink the launcher size.

Plymouth, Minnesota - True North Software today is very proud to announce the release of Station 1.2, the company's multilevel (hierarchical) launcher for macOS.

Productivity is increased because related items can be grouped together into a single folder. For example, one folder can contain work related items and another folder gaming items. Another useful feature of Station is the ability to launch, all at once, the items in a launch folder. This is useful when switching between tasks like business and spreadsheets to graphics work. With ten levels of folders available, enough space is provided to spread out even the most diverse set of applications and documents.

What's New for Version 1.2:
* When you drag items over a folder icon and hover for a short period of time, the folder will automatically open - This is similar to the Finder's spring-loaded folder feature
* You can now "copy" an item to different launch folders and the original item will remain in place - Hold down the Command-Option keys to initiate a copy
* A preference was added to allow you to open Station at login
* The smallest icon size that can be shown was decreased from 32 to 24 points
* Bug fixes and internal optimizations

Station Features:
* Up to ten levels of folders can be shown
* The size of the icons can range from 24 to 64 points
* An alias folder can be created from any existing folder
* Icons can be assigned to folders to give them a more distinctive feel
* All applications and documents in a folder can be launched all at once
* Station can be displayed on the left, right or bottom side of the screen
* Folders automatically open after a short delay when you drag items over them
* Station can be displayed statically (always shown) or automatically hidden when not needed
* The display name of a folder can be renamed (e.g. "untitled" to "Graphics")
* Scrollbar support for launch panels that exceed screen dimensions
* Embedded open folder icon can now be either blue or red
* Auto collapse of folders after launch of an item
* Select any color for the panel background color
* Station will automatically launch at login
* Fullscreen and multiscreen support

System Requirements:
* Requires macOS 10.11 or higher
* 64-bit processor
* 17 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Station 1.2 is priced at $14.99 and is available on the True North Website through FastSpring or through the Mac App Store in the Productivity category. A demo version is available from the True North Website.

Extreme Trucks Simulator offers Excavators, Bulldozers, Cranes and More

Extreme Trucks Simulator offers Excavators, Bulldozers, Cranes and More - Published on 11/14/16

Ovilex Soft today announces Extreme Trucks Simulator 1.1.0, a feature update to their popular 3D driving simulator for iOS and Android devices. Extreme Trucks Simulator features a wide selection of extreme vehicles, 8 modes, 80 levels, ultra-realistic graphics, lifelike controls, Leaderboard integration and more. Players are treated to spectacularly realistic interiors and driving controls and more. Version 1.1.0 fixes minor bugs, and adds a new Cement Truck mode.

Cluj-Napoca, Romania - As Ovilex Soft's nearly 550,000 Facebook fans will agree, when the powerhouse development company adds a new 3D simulation app to its roster, it's truly a global event that invariably leads to millions of downloads, and unleashes a steady stream of positive reviews from experts and users alike. And true to form, that's exactly what is happening in the aftermath of the latest spectacular release that may arguably be the best yet: Extreme Trucks Simulator.

As the title suggests, Extreme Trucks Simulator 1.1.0 is for all of the men, women, boys and girls who've ever looked at an excavator, bulldozer, hauler, crane, dump truck, or any other glorious industrial beast, and said to themselves: "I wish I could be in control of that!"

Obviously, Extreme Trucks Simulator can't put people in the cockpit of a real extreme industry vehicle, since only trained and licensed professionals enjoy that privilege. However, the app does the next best thing by bringing the experience to life with the stunningly realistic 3D graphics, sounds, and obsessive attention to detail that Ovilex Soft is known for.

The first thing that users will love is the wide selection of extreme vehicles they can choose from, which include: an excavator, dump truck, bulldozer, hauler, log crane truck, forklift, flatbed truck, garbage truck, cement truck, tow truck, crane, and snow plow. Anyone who wonders why Ovilex Soft would offer so many extreme vehicles when most users would be satisfied with three or four clearly isn't familiar with how the company operates. They simply never cut corners, and exceeding expectations is somehow what they manage to achieve release after release.

Once they choose their extreme vehicle, users are treated to spectacularly realistic interiors and driving controls, including tilt and touch-responsive steering, dashboard buttons and turn signals, gears, handles, levers and more. Users can also choose automatic transmission or clutch-operated manual transmission with slider pedals. The driving simulation is flawless, thanks to a realistic AI that uses physics to determine what's possible and what isn't. To that end, users need to make sure they safely and responsibly operate their vehicle to avoid damage or accidents.

The sound effects are also outstanding with lifelike engine noises, loading and unloading cargo, operating gears, and so on. There are also various weather conditions - from sunny and dry to cloudy and rainy - as well as day and night scenes, and multiple scenarios including country roads, quarry mine, deserts, mountains, cities, and more.

In terms of gameplay, as with Ovilex Soft's other 3D simulation apps, users can choose various modes such as free ride, career or multiplayer for teaming up with friends. In total, there are 8 modes with 80 levels that get increasingly challenging. The app also features Leaderboard integration, and users can request new maps and modes on Ovilex Soft's social media pages.

"Extreme Trucks Simulator was in development for many months, and our team worked extremely hard to get all of the details right," commented Marusac Alexandru of Ovilex Soft. "And based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received so far - including more than 1000 five star reviews in less than 48 hours since launching the app - it looks like our community of users around the world approve of our efforts. We hope they enjoy playing the app as much as we did creating it!"

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS8.0 or later
* 451 MB

Extreme Trucks Simulator 1.1.0 is Free (with in-app purchases) and available worldwide through the App Store in the Games category. There is also an Android version available on Google Play.
