The integrated function plotter makes it easy to visualize formulas. Users can graph cartesian as well as polar functions without having to worry about plot settings. The list is combined with examples and syntax information for almost every available function.
Almost every object in PocketCAS can be printed or exported as PDF or image. Be it the whole document, a plot, an entry or just a single formula - it can be exported for use in other applications.
Special care has been taken in order to make text input a breeze. When working with a CAS, there's a lot of different functions one might want to enter (PocketCAS is a lot more powerful than a regular scientific calculator). The iPhone's touchscreen is not very large and as much space as possible should be available for the calculations. PocketCAS therefore introduces a special mathematical keyboard with different sections. When tapping a function's key, it will be entered including braces, with the cursor in between. If text was selected prior to pressing a function key, the previously selected text will automatically be used as the argument for the entered function.
PocketCAS makes it easy to compose physical formulas. Built-in constants and physical units allow to enter formulas from a textbook without having to substitute constants manually. Entering large matrices by hand can be a huge pain, so PocketCAS' visual matrix editor assists with this task.

Vortex brings a new level productivity to the Mac. Dozens of Actions for the things you do most are instantly available via Drag N Drop or shortcut keys. With Vortex you can locate and download music and video files, and TV episodes on the internet, manage your pasteboard history ...and the list goes on! You can customize Vortex for optimum efficiency and Vortex also integrates with our other TastyApps making them even easier to use. By default, Vortex installs to launch on Startup and puts a Vortex button in your tray and a Vortex icon on your Dock. It sits quietly waiting for you to call it to action. Vortex is extremely easy to use and can be called to Action in different ways.
You can select files, folders, or text and invoke Vortex from the Tray icon or the Dock icon - or simply drag and drop your selection onto the Vortex icon on your Dock. You can also just right click on a selection and the popup menu will include a Vortex option. Vortex can be called up using Keystroke combos that you can enable. And you can enable an Action Zone on your screen that will invoke Vortex when files, folders, or text are dragged to that area.
Whatever method is used, when Vortex is called it knows what Actions are available for the selection and you simply click on the desired Action... Vortex will do the rest.
Vortex has dozens of Actions available and some file types will have many Action options. Vortex allows you to choose what Actions to display for each file type. By default Vortex only displays the most common Actions but you can enable or disable Actions that display on the Action screen. All actions have keyboard shortcut keys, and, whether displayed or not, all Actions are always available using the keyboard shortcut keys.
Vortex can be used to convert video or audio files to other formats, and it can also strip audio from video files. Vortex can download videos from YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion simply by dragging and dropping the complete URL or by using Keystroke commands. You can also download songs from GrooveShark, and you can search for and download TV episodes and songs on the internet using a simple text query.
Word documents, Open Office documents, and text files can be converted to other formats, including PDF files, with a single click. You can also select text from documents or websites and drop it onto Vortex to search in Google, Wikipedia, Bing, Google Maps. You can translate text or emails using GoogleTranslate or have the selected text spoken aloud.
Vortex remembers the last 10 items; files, folders, text or image, added to your Pasteboard and allows you to chose which item to use, providing increased efficiency when cutting and pasting for on the fly formatting and editing. And Vortex gives you instant access to the Vortex Command Center for general system commands, such as: Shut Down, Logout, Reboot, Sleep.

LiveCode object, card and stack level scripts are written into the new stack file during the conversion process to provide application functionality.
San Diego, California - At the RunRevLive.14 conference, .com Solutions Inc. has released FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition 7.34 with support for FileMaker Pro Advanced 13 to LiveCode conversions. During the RunRevLive.14 conference David Simpson, President of .com Solutions Inc. will be holding 2 workshop sessions featuring this new FileMaker 13 to LiveCode conversion feature. These workshops are scheduled for Wednesday September 3rd at 2:00pm and Thursday September 4th at 11:30am.
FmPro Migrator reads the metadata from FileMaker 11, 12, 13 database files, then in a matter of seconds generates cards for the layouts in a LiveCode 5.5 compatible stack file. LiveCode object, card and stack level scripts are written into the new stack file during the conversion process to provide application functionality.
In addition to supporting the new FileMaker 13 database format, FmPro Migrator LiveCode conversions now include Save Records as PDF and Save Records as Excel features within the generated stack file.
FmPro Migrator 7.34 has been built with LiveCode 7.0, to enhance Unicode compatibility and improve the display of application GUI elements on Hi-DPI displays for MacOSX and Windows operating systems.
Currently in developer preview release status, LiveCode 7 represents the first major release of LiveCode after completion of the engine refactoring project. This major engine refactoring project lays the foundation for all of the KickStarter project goals, and future LiveCode releases including the addition of HTML5 deployment.

* Added a new resizeStack handler to automatically resize the enclosing object group to provide automatic display of scrollbars. This handler is also called each time the Layout Menu is used to switch between cards.
* Improved support for FileMaker scrip steps having script parameters assigned to buttons on layouts. These script steps include: Go to Layout, Perform Script, Open URL, Show Custom Dialog and Go to Record/Request/Page, Save Records as PDF, Save Records as Excel.
* Added Save Records as PDF script step implementation, supporting CurrentRecord, RecordsBeingBrowsed and BlankRecord parameters. The RecordsBeingBrowsed option uses the current Foundset of records to create multi-page PDF files. Setting the printScale parameter before calling the saveRecordsAsPDF stack handler enables LiveCode developers to easily customize the amount of info placed onto a single PDF page.
* Added Save Records as Excel script step implementation, supporting CurrentRecord and BrowsedRecords options. This code is generated for the specific fields located on each card of the stack. Spreadsheet column titles and column ordering are easily customizable within the saveRecordsAsExcel card handler.
* Added cursor changing code to each layout object having an attached script step.
* Improved merge field processing to display the field name within chevrons within the text label object.

San Diego, California - At the RunRevLive.14 conference, .com Solutions Inc. has released FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition 7.34 with support for FileMaker Pro Advanced 13 to LiveCode conversions. During the RunRevLive.14 conference David Simpson, President of .com Solutions Inc. will be holding 2 workshop sessions featuring this new FileMaker 13 to LiveCode conversion feature. These workshops are scheduled for Wednesday September 3rd at 2:00pm and Thursday September 4th at 11:30am.
FmPro Migrator reads the metadata from FileMaker 11, 12, 13 database files, then in a matter of seconds generates cards for the layouts in a LiveCode 5.5 compatible stack file. LiveCode object, card and stack level scripts are written into the new stack file during the conversion process to provide application functionality.
In addition to supporting the new FileMaker 13 database format, FmPro Migrator LiveCode conversions now include Save Records as PDF and Save Records as Excel features within the generated stack file.
FmPro Migrator 7.34 has been built with LiveCode 7.0, to enhance Unicode compatibility and improve the display of application GUI elements on Hi-DPI displays for MacOSX and Windows operating systems.
Currently in developer preview release status, LiveCode 7 represents the first major release of LiveCode after completion of the engine refactoring project. This major engine refactoring project lays the foundation for all of the KickStarter project goals, and future LiveCode releases including the addition of HTML5 deployment.

The detailed list of enhancements to the LiveCode conversion feature includes:

* The latest DataGrid object from LiveCode 6.5.2 has been added to the LiveCode template stack embedded within FmPro Migrator.
* Diagonal line objects are now created by using a polygon object, in order to more accurately draw the object compared to the rectangle object previously used.
* Added a new resizeStack handler to automatically resize the enclosing object group to provide automatic display of scrollbars. This handler is also called each time the Layout Menu is used to switch between cards.
* Improved support for FileMaker scrip steps having script parameters assigned to buttons on layouts. These script steps include: Go to Layout, Perform Script, Open URL, Show Custom Dialog and Go to Record/Request/Page, Save Records as PDF, Save Records as Excel.
* Added Save Records as PDF script step implementation, supporting CurrentRecord, RecordsBeingBrowsed and BlankRecord parameters. The RecordsBeingBrowsed option uses the current Foundset of records to create multi-page PDF files. Setting the printScale parameter before calling the saveRecordsAsPDF stack handler enables LiveCode developers to easily customize the amount of info placed onto a single PDF page.
* Added Save Records as Excel script step implementation, supporting CurrentRecord and BrowsedRecords options. This code is generated for the specific fields located on each card of the stack. Spreadsheet column titles and column ordering are easily customizable within the saveRecordsAsExcel card handler.
* Added cursor changing code to each layout object having an attached script step.
* Improved merge field processing to display the field name within chevrons within the text label object.
