Natural Designs Software has announced PadKeys Keyboard 2.0, bringing major enhancements to their well-regarded iOS custom keyboard for iPad. PadKeys utilizes the extra real estate on tablet screens to provide number, punctuation and cursor keys in accustomed places, and to display expanded autocorrect suggestions. The innovative layout is also ergonomic, with frequently-used keys sized larger for typing speed and accuracy.
Why PadKeys was Created:
* Typing on an iPad in landscape mode can be surprisingly fast - until one needs to enter a number or common symbol like '%' or ';'. The iPad system keyboard was designed for the iPhone, leaving keys out because screen space was at a premium. But on the iPad there's plenty of room, so PadKeys can use a more traditional layout and speeding typing up accordingly.
* Moving the cursor in text has been the subject of many clever and innovative approaches, but when the text is small and fingers large, dedicated arrow keys are still easier to use. PadKeys puts these in the accustomed place on the bottom right.
* The iPhone-derived iPad system keyboard displays only three word suggestions in the middle of the screen, but these aren't always useful. PadKeys on the other hand uses the full width of the screen to display suggestions, enhancing the chance of a "hit". PadKeys also uses information about the key layout as well as the language being used to catch typos when finishing a word.
"PadKeys was stimulated by personal need," says Adrian Robert, founder and lead developer at Natural Designs, "But clearly I was not alone. Our users have expressed great satisfaction and gratitude for the product, and our ratings are among the highest on the App Store for any custom keyboard. What's New:
The most visible change in Version 2.0 is colorful themes, a feature which many other third-party keyboards have but was left out of PadKeys initially in order to focus on core functionality. There is also now an option to show small labels for the shifted versions of each key, something that many users requested. And finally the autocorrect / suggestions engine has been made more sophisticated, doing a better job at picking out the words the user tends to use.

You must get from shore to shore by sequentially jumping from one number to the next, while rescuing as many Snortles as you can along the way. It sounds easy, but you'll encounter choices on your path where you need to combine numbers in order to progress.
The adaptive game engine is what makes Jump! fun for a wide range of ages. The engine adjusts the difficulty for each player as you play, so the challenge is just right. You begin counting by 1s and 2s, but before you know it, you may find yourself counting by 7s, 8s and 9s and things can add up quickly. It takes the periodic table that we all know and love, and turns it into a keyboard. If the elements selected can create more than one compound, the app will show this and allow you to select the one you want.
Whack Magic 2 (8 /10): Colorful and dynamic, Whack Magic 2 keeps players fully engrossed and on the edge of their seats. Teeming with monsters of all sorts, your job is to figure out their mode of destruction and wipe them out before they destroy you. Game play is easy to pick up and as you advance through the multiple levels offered, the challenge will keep you engaged and entrenched like no other Whack a Mole game.

Shaderific is an educational app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch that helps computer science students and experienced developers to get started with OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenGL ES 3.0 shader development. The app makes it possible to write, compile and test shader programs directly on any iOS device without ever touching a laptop or desktop computer. Version 4.0 adds full support for iPad Pro, Multitasking and iOS 9.
Hamburg, Germany - Gryphos GmbH today is pleased to announce the release of Shaderific version 4.0, a major update of its OpenGL ES shader development application for iOS. Shaderific provides the full range of shader development with the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL) on tablet computers and mobile devices. Vertex and fragment shader code can be created, edited and compiled on the device and all changes are visible instantly. There is no need to use a personal computer (laptop or desktop) in the shader development process anymore.
The update adds full support for iPad Pro, Multitasking and iOS 9. To complement the existing anaglyph stereo rendering capabilities a new stereo mode has been added for left-right stereo image rendering. The stereo effect can be customized to individual user preferences by changing the eye distance and vergence in the settings menu. Rendering on an external display connected via Lightning Digital AV Adapter is now supported in addition to the default screen mirroring. The available screen resolution modes of the external display are selectable in the settings menu. The added support for game controllers facilitates the navigation of the app while using it with an external display.
Shaderific streamlines the process of prototyping, testing and debugging shaders immensely by cutting the cord to the personal computer. Whereas traditional shader development requires compilation of the whole graphics application for every change to a shader file, all this is unnecessary now. Since the shaders are edited and compiled right on the iPad, iPhone or iPod no file transfer is needed with a personal computer and a lot of time can be saved. A further strength of Shaderific lies in the possibility to change parameters (uniforms) of the shaders via the settings menu without interrupting the rendering loop. All changes can be examined in real-time and fine-tuning the rendering result is fast and easy.

Little kids who start to learn about color and painting will find this coloring book interesting and innovative. There is no need to prepare glue, sand, paper, just your iPad is enough.
The design team created three themes of the coloring pages to choose from: fairy tale characters, animals and dinosaurs. No matter if you have a boy or a girl, they will find their loved templates. Unlike most painting apps, the sand grain makes the painting process, and its result, very special. The magic shovel tool makes creation easy and unlimited. You can DIY the coloring pages by using the shovel tool to draw grass, clouds, house, people, everything you can think of on the templates. So it becomes unique for your artwork.
