Tropical Software President James Lee explains the return of iAddressX: "iAddressX was developed by Michael Balle-Pedersen, a Software Engineer at Apple Inc. Before he worked at Apple. Michael released versions running in Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4. I discovered iAddressX languishing after Michael went to work for Apple and we were able to acquire iAddressX. We immediately developed a version that ran under Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) that is still available. Thanks to some help from friend and Apple software wizard John Daub we are now able to get iAddressX working in Mac OS X 10.7 through 10.10. In-house expert Lewis Garrett inserted the Check for Update and Registration code, and put the final touches on this release."

New York, New York - 17 year old inventor, Ameer Sami has launched a $50,000, 30 day Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for Ottobox, his home automation device. Ottobox is a home automation system that reduces electric bills by up to 50%. It does so by monitoring energy wasting appliances over Wifi and Bluetooth, and turning them off when they're not in use.
Ottobox's patent pending technology completely stops the flow of electricity to the appliance. With Ottobox, users can control their appliances remotely through the accompanying iOS and Android smartphone app.
A significant amount of energy is wasted by appliances in standby mode. Ottobox learns the habits of the user's home, learning when appliances tend to be in use and turning them off when they are not. Ottobox automatically turns off standby appliances, allowing consumers to make considerable savings on their electric bills.
Ottobox is the brainchild of Ameer Sami, the Founder & Chief Engineer of Ottomate. Ameer, after being continually scolded by his mother for failing to turn off his devices when not using them, decided that there must be a more efficient way to save energy. At the young age of 16, he developed the first prototype of the Ottobox.
Ameer says, "I'm excited to launch the Ottobox Kickstarter campaign. With the support of the Kickstarter community, we are making home automation a reality. It's time to live in a home that truly knows and responds to you."

Ameer is a 17-year-old whiz kid entrepreneur who has been taking apart electronics since he was 5. He is a self taught developer who learned Ruby on Rails on summer break--because, as he puts it, "it's fun!" He has participated in hackathons, and was the sole developer on one of the winning teams at the Techxploration Hackathon. The classic game of Tic Tac Toe offers a 3D twist. The game is similar to a traditional game of Tic Tac Toe, but is played on three grids stacked on top of each other. To score a point, a player must place 3 of their symbols on 3 squares that line up vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, on a single grid, or spaced evenly over all three grids. The player plays versus the device, where players can display full statistics, and there are challenges to complete.
In the Classical Othello/Reversi game, players take turns placing disks on the board with their assigned color facing up. a player plays against the device and to win the game, a player must have the majority of disks turned over to display their color when the last playable empty square is filled. During a play, disks are turned over to the current player's color when any disks of the opponent's color are in a straight line and bounded by the disk just placed and another disk. The four games include:
* Tic Tac Toe: A classic "paper-and-pencil" game where two players take turns placing a piece ("X" or "O") on a three by three board. The player who gets three of their pieces in a row wins the game.
* Tile Puzzle: Another classic game where a player slides square-shaped puzzle pieces horizontally or vertically into an empty space until all of the pieces are in order numerically.
* Memory: A card game where all of the cards are initially laid face down. The goal of the game is to turn over pairs of matching cards. The player wins when all pairs have been exposed and, as such, all cards have been turned over.
* Nim: A simplified variation of the Ancient Chinese game. Players alternate between picking up one or two diamonds. The player who picks up the last diamond wins the game.
WatchArcadeGames can be played on both the iPhone and the Apple Watch. An Apple Watch is required to play the game on an Apple Watch. However, the games can still be played on an iPhone even if a watch is not present.

Silver brings the Swift language to Android and Windows developers - Published on 05/01/15
RemObjects Software today announces Silver, the free compiler that brings Apple's Swift programming language to .NET, Java and Android developers. Part of their Elements compiler toolchain, Silver builds on ten years of solid compiler infrastructure to let developers use Swift to create apps for Android, .NET and Java. Swift code will compile directly to IL code that runs on Microsoft's Common Language Runtime, or to Java Byte code that runs on the JVM or on Android.
Hanover Park, Illinois - RemObjects Software today is happy to announce the first release of Silver, the free compiler that brings Apple's Swift programming language to .NET, Java and Android developers. Part of their Elements compiler toolchain, also updated today to version 8.1, Silver builds on ten years of solid compiler infrastructure to let developers use Swift to create apps for Android, .NET (including ASP.NET, Windows apps, Windows Phone, WinRT and cross-platform server apps) and Java.
Platforms:
With Silver, the Swift language supports each of these platforms directly and natively, without bloated abstraction layers that would hide the underlying frameworks. Swift code will compile directly to IL code that runs on Microsoft's Common Language Runtime, or to Java Byte code that runs on the JVM or on Android. For completeness, Silver also directly targets the Cooca platform, so its users can create apps for Mac and iOS, as well.
Development Environments:
Elements supports developers working on both Windows and Mac -
* On Windows, developers can use the **Visual Studio** IDE (included free of charge), which has been extended with deep integration for Swift *and* a full development and debugging stack for both Java and Cocoa.
* On Mac, developers can leverage RemObject's own brand-new **Fire** development environment which has been developed from the ground up especially for the Mac and for the Elements languages, and Swift in particular.

When jumping from branch to branch, gamers have to look out for treacherous branches as well as dangerous insects, in particular the big black spiders, that will try to attack.

A game designed to both enhance the memory and keep players entertained, Find da Pair lets players of all ages participate in a classic hunt for matching pairs of items. The twist is that each time the player guesses wrong, the objects are bounced around the screen like pool balls, so the player has to use more than just rote memory.

Mahmud Ahsan, iThinkdiff's Lead Developer, said, "It's a physics-based game for exercising your brain. Users have to match objects, but if a user wrongly selects two boxes, the boxes move, shake, or rotate and the game becomes more interesting to solve."
Each level has only 20 boxes (10 pairs), but the arrangement of the boxes and the force used to rearrange the boxes is set to make each level slightly harder than the level before it, so it's easy to start playing the game but challenging to get all the way to level 100.
