Designed by Montessori teachers, Easy Song Studio feat. Micky Green is unique because it offers an effortless way to customize a fun song using beautifully animated images. Children can choose among more than 100 words to create their own version. For those who don't want to choose, a "shuffle" button inserts the images randomly.
Easy Song Studio's uses a simple drag and drop interface, very colorful animated graphic designs for children from the age of 7. The song is divided in 2 main sections: the first one with words associated to the Holiday season: chestnuts, cranberries, Christmas tree, Santa Claus ... The second one is like a "crazy gift list": "for mommy ... for daddy ... for the fish ..." Children will spend ours laughing at all the different combinations.
3 different music styles are available: a rap version, an acoustic version and a pop version. Children can change style at any time during the song. 4 voice effects come as an added "ingredient" to the fun: slow the voice down and the whole song will slow down, speed it up and it's like the chipmunks are singing. The app also offers a robot voice, an echo and a reverb effect.

If the child doesn't know what a word means, they can go to the library to look it up in the dictionary. The game can also be played entirely in English.

Having chosen the picture from the gallery or taken the photo with the in-built camera, user can then start applying any of the colorful masks on offer. The objects can be scaled, rotated and moved. The edited picture can then be shared to major social networks within the app. Anything from selfies to landscapes and everyday shots starts oozing holiday magic with Christmassy masks applied.

"The best part of writing this app has been having the opportunity of testing it from the cold waters off the North Yorkshire coast, to the warm seas off the Islands of Florida," explained Tim Teece, designer and lead developer. "We have stacks more features that we want to add in the next few releases, for example we are currently working on an integration with the Apple Watch, and we are working out how to use of some of the more advanced movement sensors in the latest iPhones to allow you to analyse and improve your technique in greater detail, so there is much more to come."

When turning off the automatic fireworks show mode, the app can be used as an interactive visualizer that responds to the swipe gesture. Disabling both the automatic show and sound generates more particles when touching the screen. The best user experience can be achieved when connecting the iPad to a TV using a TV-Out kit or Airplay.
