Tampa, Florida - Today, Happi Papi has announced the latest addition to its line of award winning children's apps. Happi Connect & Collect, as the app is called, is a learning game where elementary school kids get to make mental connections when solving word association problems in return for clever collectors cards.
"Happi Connect & Collect is the first of at least three apps (we have a total of six apps in the pipeline) to be released during 2014" says Patrick Larson, co-founder of Happi Papi. "In the past we have developed an app from start to finish but since about a year ago we have shifted to a parallell development process where we work on several apps at the time."
Because of the redesigned development process it has been longer than normal between app releases for Happi Papi who released its last app, Happi & The Pirates almost a year ago. "Hopefully it will be worth the wait" says Jens Ode, the other founder of Happi Papi. "Happi Connect & Collect builds on the successful concept of letting kids work on different types of problems in the same app. Learning should always be fun and never feel like a choir. At Happi Papi we believe this is best accomplished with variety and humor."
With association puzzles, spelling exercises and strategic decisions on when to save and when to spend, Happi Connect & Collect is a versatile app. To further enhance the playing experience it also has 50 original collectors cards to fill the build-in album with as well as a whimsical navigation menu that is sure to bring a smile to your face. "I know an app cannot be about a menu but this menu is truly something else. It is not worth the whole purchase price by itself but almost," laughs Patrick Larson.

Fatty has to save his girlfriend from the evil fat "King" by riding his ridiculously undersized red bike up and down hills while avoiding sugary foods and munching fruit and vegetables. Our chubby hero is also able to harness gravity to his advantage and obtain breakneck speeds on his tiny red bicycle.
Port Elizabeth, South Africa - Miffed at the intrusion Candy Crush had on his relationship, Indie Developer Mark Phillips took it upon himself to join the #candyjam campaign by creating "Fatty on a Bike - An Epic Journey." Fatty has to save his girlfriend from the evil fat "King" by riding his ridiculously undersized red bike up and down hills while avoiding sugary foods and munching fruit and vegetables.
The game follows Fatty over a smorgasbord of brightly coloured procedural landscapes as our gravitationally challenged hero makes heroic jumps to avoid the sugary treats and rockets downhills to collect the fruit and veg. Our chubby hero is also able to harness gravity to his advantage and obtain breakneck speeds on his tiny red bicycle. A number of strategically located power ups such as "Fat Blocker" and "Vertigo" will assist or hinder your epic journey.

Tokyo, Japan - Dolice has announced the updated Hearing Healing - Relaxing Music & Alarm Clock (Free) for iOS. This is a free application that helps you relax as you listen to healing music or the sounds of nature, such as rain or the tweeting of birds.
This application has a compilation of 5 healing songs and 11 natural sounds. All the healing songs can be played in succession, and you can also set them to be played on repeat. The application currently includes approximately one hour's worth of healing music.
You can set the playback time for the rain sounds and other natural sounds. Once the set time is reached, the volume is gradually lowered, eventually reaching a complete stop in order to allow you to fall asleep. For example, before falling asleep, you could be listening to the water flowing in a streamlet; then, as you start to relax, before you know it you will be gently pulled into a peaceful sleep.
This application also includes some white noise, so it is also recommended for when you want to concentrate on your work or studies.
It also has an alarm clock with 5 different alarms to choose from. As long as you ensure the application is running while connected to a power source, you will never find yourself sleeping through without the alarm going off.
Even if you set the alarm while songs or sounds are being played, you do not need to worry, as the application will stop playing when it is time for the alarm to go off.

The game itself is eloquently simple to learn yet features gameplay that's diverse and fast paced enough to keep anyone motivated to play for hours on end.
Controlling their neon glowing lightopus via gesture or virtual joystick controls players must navigate an alien looking underwater abyss in a bid to break shells containing kidnapped lightopus youngsters and ultimately guide them back to safety! Things aren't that simple though, as the game's levels become increasingly more populated with stationary as well as roving deep sea monsters. Some you'll have to dodge around but others - either with the help of the bulbies trailing behind you or after picking up an electrifying power-up - you can simply decimate!
Though Lightopus has a narrative to drive its action, it is far from a watered down arcade experience. The game rewards players for every bulbie shell they break open, every monster they kill, and how accurately they finish every level!

Independent developer Ricky Ryan has announced Hangman Run 1.3 for iOS, an update to his popular running game. Hangman Run completely reinvents the ordinary Hangman game by combining it with an endless running game. Players must avoid obstacles as they collect letters and solve the word puzzle. Each time the player hits an obstacle or guesses the word incorrectly, a limb is added to the hangman's body. Version 1.3 features new levels, more in-app purchases and an ad-free gameplay option.
Burbank, California - Independent developer Ricky Ryan has announced the release of Hangman Run 1.3, an update to the popular infinite running game for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices. Hangman Run completely reinvents the ordinary Hangman game by combining it with an endless running game.
The game begins in a forest where the player runs, jumps and shoots, avoiding trees and rocks in their path. By tapping the left side of the screen, players activate a laser that shoots down the trees. To jump over rocks in their path and to collect coins, players tap the right side of the screen. Players also collect letters to solve the word puzzle and move to the next level, which is based on the previous level's word.
In the upper right hand corner of the interface is a hangman's noose. Each time a player hits one of the obstacles, a limb gets added to the hangman's body. Also, if the player incorrectly guesses the word, a limb will get added to the hangman's body. The game is over after the hangman's body is complete.
"Infinite runners have been around for a long time, and have been beaten to death," says Kyle of RetinaGamer (24 February 2014). "It's a very saturated market, but a new game came out called Hangman Run that takes the concept and runs with it. The twist is a new hand drawn style that captures nostalgia of an old time - middle school. A new style on an old concept is always a refreshing breath of air, especially with the thousands of games on the iPhone."

Hangman Run 1.3 - Reinvented Running Game with a Hangman's Twist Updated - Published on 03/21/14
Independent developer Ricky Ryan has announced Hangman Run 1.3 for iOS, an update to his popular running game. Hangman Run completely reinvents the ordinary Hangman game by combining it with an endless running game. Players must avoid obstacles as they collect letters and solve the word puzzle. Each time the player hits an obstacle or guesses the word incorrectly, a limb is added to the hangman's body. Version 1.3 features new levels, more in-app purchases and an ad-free gameplay option.
Burbank, California - Independent developer Ricky Ryan has announced the release of Hangman Run 1.3, an update to the popular infinite running game for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices. Hangman Run completely reinvents the ordinary Hangman game by combining it with an endless running game.
The game begins in a forest where the player runs, jumps and shoots, avoiding trees and rocks in their path. By tapping the left side of the screen, players activate a laser that shoots down the trees. To jump over rocks in their path and to collect coins, players tap the right side of the screen. Players also collect letters to solve the word puzzle and move to the next level, which is based on the previous level's word.
In the upper right hand corner of the interface is a hangman's noose. Each time a player hits one of the obstacles, a limb gets added to the hangman's body. Also, if the player incorrectly guesses the word, a limb will get added to the hangman's body. The game is over after the hangman's body is complete.
"Infinite runners have been around for a long time, and have been beaten to death," says Kyle of RetinaGamer (24 February 2014). "It's a very saturated market, but a new game came out called Hangman Run that takes the concept and runs with it. The twist is a new hand drawn style that captures nostalgia of an old time - middle school. A new style on an old concept is always a refreshing breath of air, especially with the thousands of games on the iPhone."

Version 1.3 includes several features including a much anticipated new level called Volcano. Players now have the option to remove ads, buy new levels, and purchase a greater quantity of coins in the Store. There is a new loading wheel and scores needed to unlock additional levels have been significantly lowered. In the update, a player needs only a score of 4,000 to unlock the City level and 5,000 to unlock the Volcano level.
"Hangman Run isn't your ordinary infinite running Game," says independent developer Ricky Ryan. "By taking the endless running theme and fusing it with traditional Hangman, I've created a game that offers endless challenges and fun gameplay. Hangman Run has been ranked #60 in some countries and it's probably the only app dedicated to a turtle. In this case, I dedicated it to my family turtle, Bob." He adds, "Hangman Run also updates frequently so I invite players to post a word/level that they would like to see in the next update on Facebook or Twitter.
